We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency. From check in to check out everything was great. Our room and the food were very good. The individual at the check in desk also gave us a tip for dinner nearby which was perfect for us. We would recommend this hotel.

First stay here, requested a quiet room and got it! Never heard another guest or any staff movement. Room was a bit dated but okay. Staff very extremely friendly and helpful. Not to far to walk from train station and lots of places to grab a bite or a coffee at.

Stayed here for two nights. Very close to the Princess of Wales theatre. Also convenient for walking to Chinatown and Kensington Market. A bit of a walk from Union Station. Doesn't provide breakfast in room rate. The room was clean and comfortable.

My daughter and I spent one night at the Hyatt so we could go to a play. The hotel is very centrally located, very clean and staff were more than accommodating. We were allowed to check in early and the next day to leave our bags after we had checked out. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall, an average stay. Reasonable room, a bit small but nice and clean/quiet. Location is great for most things in Toronto. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. A fairly standard big city hotel.

We liked the hotel as it was conveniently located. Parking underneath the hotel was convenient.. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. We walked to the Eaton Centre and the skating rink at City Hall.

Just got back from three nights at the Hyatt. As usual the service was excellent. This hotel is in a perfect area within walking distance for shops, restaurants and entertainment. My only issue with the hotel was their breakfast. We ordered off the menu and both the food and coffee were cold. Not sure why this was, but it wasn't...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
