Coming from Europe to spend some days in Toronto, i choose this hotel. Honestly i had high expectations, as this hotel chain has quite some reputation .The hotel price was on the upper range of my budget. But when i was there in the hotel, i was quite disappointed. Hotel staff is professional ,but no warmth. Bed, room was alright...

Myself and my friend overnight at this hotel. There was a close family wedding we had to attend close by. In my view all was well very comfy stay. Morning breakfast was excellent for the price. Overall I got my money worth. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

My family had a vacation to Toronto and we stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express – Scarborough taking advantage of the Toronto Zoo deal. This was a great deal. Our family is two adults and two children (5 and 7) and the Toronto Zoo deal definitely saved us money when comparing the cost of the deal against the...

My husband and I , along with our two young children overnighted at the Holiday Inn Express Toronto East while in town for a family function. Our booking, made via Priceline, was for 2 adults, 2 children and specified a non-smoking room. Upon arrival, we were promptly informed that we would be given a King sized, smoking room. When we...

Dear Guest, When you book standard room which is classified as smoking or non-smoking and room to be assigned based on availability at check-in often results in to such situations especially on sold out nights. We would strongly recommend to carry a copy of your confirmation which indicates that you have booked a specific room type and present this at...

Small, thin towels, very noisy bathroom fan coupled with the light switch and a seeming inability to curb late night (early morning) guest-generated noise were downers. We chose this hotel for its location vis-a-vis where we were going and whom we were visiting. At Markham Road and the 401, it's convenient for east-west travel as well as south into the...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience and for taking the time to post your comments. Our bathroom light switch is coupled with the exhaust fan as most of the time guest fail to put on the exhaust resulting in to smoke alarm due to hot showers also because of mould formed due to the moisture. We sincerely regret...

We stayed at this hotel in July of 2014, it's a nice hotel. The staff is great, it's nice and bright and very clean. Close to The Keg, a McDonalds , a gas station (where you can buy bus tokens), subway restaurant and the bus stops. The free breakfast was good, instant oatmeal, eggs, omelets, sausage and bacon..biscuits, cinnamon rolls, coffee,...

This hotel was very clean and quiet. The room was on the smaller side, but other than that was perfect. The staff was friendly and helped us with every need! Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
