Our second stay at this hotel was just as good as our first!
We were in Toronto for a Blue Jays game, and the Intercontinental is within a very short walking distance to the stadium.
Our room was luxurious, clean, well-stocked, and had a great...More
Stayed here for a conference for 5 nights. Perfect for if your conference is in the hotel there. Clean comfortable and nicely appointed King Suite. No noise. Great AC. The hotel restaurant and bar are expensive but good quality. Breakfast buffet is too pricey, but...More
We stayed for Blue Jays games, at the nearby Rogers Centre. The Club Level is worth a little extra, as you have private checkin, conceirge and afternoon, tea, honour bar and evening appetizers and an enhanced continental breakfast. The gym is well equipped and there...More
We decided to stay an extra night in the city and found a great rate at this hotel. The location was fantastic as it was near EVERYTHING! The service was what you'd expect from the InterContinental property. They had cold orange water by the elevators...More
Attending a concert at ACC. 2 blocks away! Comfortable rooms, decent sized with 2 queen beds. Expensive things: wifi (free for members), $50 parking, $30 breakfast, $6 bottle of water. This is all pretty standard with the downtown hotels but still nice to know ahead...More

Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe
Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.

Wasn't it wonderful? I noticed as well and asked the friendly staff on the concierge floor. They found out from maintenance and told me the ingredients, but I forgot. They did say the scent is actually pumped through the hotel via the air system. It's a custom scent. I'm sure if you contact them they'll help you out! The Ritz in Toronto and Montreal both generously gave me bottles of their scents.
