Upgraded to a new spacious newly decorated room at check in. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. Only down fall is the price for parking. Rooms and entire hotel very clean. Connected to the convention centre so location is perfect for any activities downtown Toronto

We stayed for holiday, just myself & my 12 years son. Location, location, location. Very convenient room facing to the lake where my son love to see planes take off & landing. You can find everything from CN Tower, restaurant, theatre and Union Station just within walking distance. The concierge was just awesome. Very helpful & assisting. When asking for...

My husband had a conference here and it was a super experience for me too! We had a great room overlooking the lake (1719: a colleague had 1623 and all he saw was the CN tower) and even watching planes arrive and depart from the Island airport! I asked for a couple of extra things from housekeeping and they were...

We had stayed at the Sofitel in Chicago prior to this stop, so the hotel had a lot to live up too. We were early for check in so the reception offered us a drink at the bar which went down very well! Our room had been renovated and was very comfortable even though we were facing the train terminal...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for five days at the end of August. We found the rooms to be modern, spacious and clean. The bathroom amenities were excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is good but pricey. It is a prime location within walking distance to many attractions. We would definitely stay at...

Great hotel in downtown Toronto. Stayed here for a wedding so i didn't have much time in the room/hotel but the staff i checked in with were knowledgable and attentive, the lobby was very nice and they had onsite self-parking and valet for a reasonable rate. The room was quiet and clean with a nice bed. Overall, great stay.

Stayed for a conference held in the area. Hotel seems to have been nicely updated with traditional layout but modern finishings. Club floor with nice lounge available. Lobby bar/restaurant has good ambiance with good food with average service. Did not use gym or pool facilities.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
