Got a Groupon for this hotel stay on a Friday night with parking and WiFi included. Rooms are small and basic but sufficient, our first room wasn't cleaned and reception was quick to send us to another room. Check in at 5pm on a Friday night was quick and easy. Parking is underground and across the street. Located right beside...

This was my first time staying at Bond Place Hotel. I used to stay at a different hotel that was a few blocks up the street, but it has been since been torn down to make way for a new building. Because I like the location (close to my favorite restaurants), I chose Bond Place. The customer service was wonderful...

The hotel was well cleaned. Room was an ok size. The walls were pretty thing you could hear the noise from other rooms. The staff were great. The only thing I had trouble with the whole night was getting the heater to work,

This hotel is more mid-range and is not full amenity. It does not have a pool but has a bar and a small restaurant. There is a concierge on the first floor which most economy hotels don't have. Donna, the concierge, is very nice and knows the city quite well. The hotel has been renovated a few times within the...

Our room was freshly renovated. Loved what they did and used every single square inch as usable space. Lovely and clean as well. It is a great location for shopping and doing anything downtown. Parking situation is a little different, but to be expected in the heart of downtown.

The best part about this hotel is the location. Within steps of the Eaton Centre and Mirvish Theatre is a block or two away. Subway is available as well. Parking is not attached to the hotel - kitty corner from it. It is underground which is good. The rooms are very small. I stayed in a room with two single...

The very noticeable thing about this hotel is the customer service. I checked in at night (after 10) and the customer service was super professional yet friendly and smiley. I have been to five stars hotels which customer service personnel need to be taught what the term means. Also, the cleaning service was perfect. This 3 stars hotel also has...

The hotel is very well located, and the rooms and services are all pretty good. It's also very reasonably priced for the area. However, the wifi was really bad, which is a non-starter for business travelers and possibly even tourists. It was really frustrating not to have a consistent connection, and there wasn't a way to connect directly on a...

First off the location is amazing, there's a Burrito Boys right in front, many great restaurants and breakfast places close by and the Eaton Centre is a 5m walk away. The staff was very friendly, check-in and check-out were a breeze. The rooms were very small, the smallest I have ever seen to be honest, the best were pretty small...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
