The room was very spacious, which was great for a longer stay. The furnishings/fittings in our room were dated and partially worn out, but the room was still comfortable and we thought the good value price compared to other downtown choices made up for this. The free coffee and muffin in the lobby for breakfast were good enough for a morning snack - there are plenty of restaurants nearby and the location was a short walk to where we wanted to go downtown.

I stayed at the Cambridge this week while on vacation for 4 nights. The location is fantastic, it's within walking distance to almost all of the venues, shopping and attractions we went to see, it's also close to the subway station which we also used. The rooms were much larger than I expected, they were clean and the housekeeping staff were fantastic! Our room was always cleaned and beds were made when we returned and the staff ensured our morning coffee was always replenished which I really appreciated. I read a lot of negative reviews about the building locking after 10pm, but I had no problem with this at all, there was security guarding the doors and as long as I used my key card they gave me no hassle. They also allowed me an early check in and held my baggage while I did some shopping and waited for our room to be ready. The wifi wasn't great, but wouldn't deter me from staying here again!

Hubby and I wanted to get away for a little trip to Toronto. We had been to Toronto for our honeymoon quite a few years ago. We also had come to Toronto one other time when our children were younger. Just thought we would love to go again. Looked at the accommodations that were available and this one looked like it was a good one. Had a suite not just a room and pretty good reviews. When we arrived we were given our suite on the 15th floor. We were very impressed with the layout. Big living area with couch and a chair. Wet bar with coffee maker, spoons and glasses. There was a fridge and microwave. Loved that the bedroom was separate from sitting area and had double doors that close off from the living space. The bathtub/shower and toilet were in a separate room and then the sink in another area had a really long vanity and drawers for unpacking that was so nice. There was a big closet also in that room that you could put your clothes in. Flatscreen TV in the master bedroom and then also in the living area. Room darkening curtains in both the living room if you were to have somebody sleep on the pull out couch and then also in the master bedroom which we loved. The bed was comfortable but sunk slightly where I slept and carpet was slightly outdated as well as wall paper. There was a night light on the wall in the bathroom which I loved since I get up a couple times during the night. The location was so good. We could walk anywhere we wanted. Eaton center, Rogers stadium, stores and restaurants and markets. Would definitely stay again.

Cambridge suites had a homely feel and was a welcome pit stop while travelling throughout North America. The suite was exceptionally clean and very spacious! Comfortable couch and bed. Very large bathroom. Laundry room was small but no waiting time for machines. Front desk were helpful and exchanged notes to coins for washing machine use. Great location, easy walk to Nathan Phillips Square, flat iron building, St Lawrence market and the Eaton Centre for shopping.

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2024 and it was great for us. Our room/suite had 3 distinct areas - the bedroom, the bathroom and a sitting/dining area. So good to have a couch and decent chairs to sit on. We had a fridge, microwave, and a sink too.
The decor and furniture in the hotel are a bit dated, but we still recommend staying here. It’s obviously popular with sports fans who visit Toronto for games. When the locals like a place, it’s a good sign.
The hotel is in a good location. You can walk there (with luggage) from Union Station. It’s also close to several of the streetcar lines, and the subway. The Queen subway stop is the closest one to enter, but beware when getting off because the station exits are all over the place!
On the same block as the hotel there’s a drugstore, and Rabba (a 24 hour convenience store). Very handy.
The hotel offers free coffee and muffins between 7am and 9am, and there is a guest laundry ($1 coins required).

Was in town for the weekend for a concert. Travelled with a friend, her daughter, myself and my daughter. We booked a kind room with sofa bed. The room was spacious and clean. The king bed was in a separate bedroom. There was a tv in the bedroom and in the living room. You can enter the washroom from the living room area or the from the bedroom. Once in the washroom, the toilet and shower are in a separate room which was great as shower and toilet is in a separate room which was great so I could bath my daughter as my friend was doing her daughter hair in the other area of the bathroom. The location of the hotel is great. 5 min walk from LCBO hahaha, breakfast restaurant across the street, 15 min walk to the Scotia bank arena. 10 min walk to the mall.
Front desk staff were so kind and helpful. Provided us with bottles of water when we checked in. I forgot my daughter’s toothbrush and they provided us with toothbrushes. She gave us recommendations for places near by to eat at that were walking distance with two 5 year olds.
Indoor parking was definitely a plus. Will definitely return! Thank you for a great stay!

This was a clean and professional property. The housekeeping service was terrific. The condition of the room was good--a careful inspection might turn up some wear and flaws, but nothing obvious.
The biggest downside was the noise. Much of this was to be expected in downtown, but our room was next to the elevator shaft which meant that we could hear the elevator and somehow the room next door to us on the other side of the elevators. Muffled voices too quiet to hear what they were saying, but there was a thin point in the wall by the window that let some sound through.
I would stay here again because the location is prime downtown and the price was better than others in the area without the downsides of sketchy properties.

The Cambridge Suites was a great choice for our first trip to Canada! The hotel was so close to everything. We were able to walk to the baseball game, Hockey Hall of Fame, as well as shopping. The room was perfect for the 3 of us. The queen size beds were smaller than the one we have at home so we each got our own bed while my son had the whole sofa bed. The kitchen area was great to hold snacks and sodas. There was a Keurig coffee maker and microwave as well. Not a lot of drawers but there were closets to hang up clothes when needed. I loved the doors in the bedroom so that we could all have our privacy. Building security was excellent. The entrance doors and elevators were room key locked after a certain time at night.

Cambridge Suites is a well-laid out hotel with excellent location and amenities. During the Dec 23rd winter storm, we didn't even have to go outside once, as we utilized their inside passage PATH to Eaton's Centre and other venues. Staff are exceptional, especially Jin at the front desk and the fitness facility with hot tub and sauna was exactly what we needed after a full day of exploring. The suite was clean of efficiently laid out that when our daughter joined us for two nights, we can be separated from our bedroom and have plenty of privacy with the washroom layout. we will not hesitate to return.
