I have stayed here many times and always enjoyed my stay. Very convenient location easy parking. Near Eaton Centre and TTC(Subway). All rooms are 500 square feet so no worries about getting a small room. Breakfast is good and complementary but it can get a bit crowded at times. Staff is always very nice and professional. Hotel is very clean...

It's very quiet and private, suites are plain but comfortable and clean, with a small kitchen, I can buy food and warm up later, it's convenient for me, sometimes I have meetings or have to spend time in the internet because my business, not much time to...

I have recently returned from a week in Toronto staying at the Cambridge Suites. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived the reception staff were excellent and the checking in procedure was extremely smooth. We had a ‘cityscape’ room which was perfect, very clean and spacious with an excellent maid service. Fantastic views across downtown...

This is our second review of the Cambridge Suites and once again virtually everything about our stay was good - the location is perfect for town, reception staff were always helpful and polite as were housekeeping. The lounge and bedroom areas were exactly what we needed - comfy seating and bed. However the bathroom was still a huge letdown -...

The hotel is tucked just off a main road, making for a nice entrance. It's very well located and walking distance to the main street with bars on it, and Toronto's tourist highlights. The staff are attentive and polite, and check-in was prompt. The room itself is very nice. I wouldn't say it was the most luxurious room i've evr...

This hotel provided the perfect spot for a quick 2 day visit to downtown Toronto on Oct 25,26, 2011. The directions , the access to parking( which the daily rate allowed us to stay from 4pm one day to 6pm the next, so we didn't have to move the car and pay more), the welcoming and very helpful staff and...

My wife and I stay for 4 nights in September 2011 on a business trip to Toronto. The suite was very roomy and had a fridge, microwave, sink and coffee machine. The location is great and close to Eaton's Mall and the convention I was attending at The Sheraton. This was my second time staying there and will stay there...

I stayed here two nights in October for business. I was completely happy with the experience: nice big and clean rooms, superb front desk service, convenient on-site parking garage, excellent location within walking distance of the downtown shopping core as well as the funkier University Ave shops and great restaurants. I highly recommend Cambridge.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
