The room is old and sad, as the bathroom. There is no electrical plug by the bed. Internet speed is a shame. Maid was singing in the corridor while vacuuming. Breakfast was good, that's why i added one star...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 August 2016

We stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of July, and it was one of the best options we did in our roud trip in Canada. Booked this hotel because of its location, as it is close to Union Station, Toronto Islands ferry terminal, CN Tower, Aquarium... (everything within a maximum of 15 min walking distance), we...

Stayed here on a trip to Toronto in the summer and could not fault it. The place was very clean and modern. The staff were also extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were great and more spacious then your average hotel. Would definitely stay again

I have stayed in this hotel many times whilst on business. Its central location and proximity to Union Station make it an excellent choice in Toronto. The St. Lawrence market is just a stone's throw away for shopping, or just hanging out. The rooms are not huge, but spacious enough and there's free wifi. The fitness center, sauna, pool and...

This Novotel is well located, within walking distance to the waterfront and other nearby restaurants and attractions like the Sony Entertainment Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, and Air Canada Centre. Room was well-appointed and spacious; bed was comfortable; some furniture could be more updated, but the Nespresso machine was a nice touch. Pool, sauna, and fitness room are better than...

We went to a show at the Sony Centre next door and stayed at the Novotel. What a great stay! The staff was super friendly, great room and breakfast. The value is excellent for this location as well. We will be back.

Smashing room, the bed was so big I almost needed google maps to find my wife ! Bathroom was a good size too with space for both of us at once as well as a good shower/bath. Reception was good, the staff were very pleasant and helped us in gaining our plane boarding passes for our return. Location was right...

The rooms are spacious and clean although the amenities somewhat lacking. Who would put a cooler into a hotel room in place of a bar fridge? Cheap plastic cups wrapped in plastic and styrofoam for coffee. A pot of coffee barely fills two cups. One shampoo, shower gel and mini soap. No conditioner or lotion. I know that all of...

We only stayed 1 night between very long flights. Tired and hurting we arrived to a very lovely, clean and inviting 3 stars hotel. Location is great and breakfast buffet was perfect. Would definitely come back.

My buddy and I attend a Toronto Raptors game one per year and we were looking for a place that was pretty close to the Air Canada center, close to restaurants and pubs. We decided to try the this hotel and we were pleased with the comfort, the sleep quality and the overall quality of the service. This year again,...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
