Good business hotel in great location for financial district. Rooms were quiet, staff were helpful. I've noted some criticism about the decor but it was absolutely fine for me. Would be happy to stay here again.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I have stayed in this hotel many times whilst on business. Its central location and proximity to Union Station make it an excellent choice in Toronto. The St. Lawrence market is just a stone's throw away for shopping, or just hanging out. The rooms are not huge, but spacious enough and there's free wifi. The fitness center, sauna, pool and...

First time staying at this hotel. I recall when it was built many years ago but it has been kept up with the times. Speedy check in and out. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Simple rooms but comfortable and spacious. Clean and housekeeping staff there if you wanted a quick clean and straighten up. Pool area clean with...

My girlfriend and I stayed here 1 night while enjoying the st Patricks day festivities in Toronto. So if you're looking for fun in the city this is a perfect location. Also the rooms are nice and clean, the staff are very helpful, and the isn't that bad. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is within walking distance of the St Lawrence Market, and all the different food outlets and other shops in this renovated area. Not far from the waterfront obviously nor Billy Bishop airport. Hotel entrance is spacious and has a nice seating area by the fire, and a bar and restaurant. Restaurant is standard Novotel fare, burgers and salads...

Great location, walking distance to loads of things to see & do in the city. Our room was huge, bathroom was big and amenities were great. We'd been travelling & staying in some classy 5 star place where the rooms were very small, so such a pleasure to stretch out. Staff were really friendly, and went out of their way...

Loved staying at this hotel. It was nice clean and the bed was comfy. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good especially as we have a fussy child. Close to everything we wanted to do while in Toronto, especially the late nights at the Air Canada Centre and the early morning train to Niagara. Would stay here again.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
