I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. Pillows I found were too soft, but, that is me. I am sure there are people that like soft pillows. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. i was up on the 28th floor and enjoyed the view of the city lit up at night. Service was excellent as...

I arrived 15 minutes late for a presentation I had to deliver at the Sheraton Centre Hotel. My flight was cancelled from the States the night before. The rescheduled flight the morning of my presentation was over an hour late. When I checked into the front desk, Tammy at reception said to me: "Can we do anything to alleviate your...

Last minute getaway turned into a great stay. Lots of quality surprises. Super close to all kinds of great activities. Great attentive staff, quality room, bed and bedding was top notch. Had the pleasure of the 43rd floor lounge for breakfast and pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres. The connection to the under-street level "path" was a big plus during a cold weekend....

Overall, the hotel is a relatively nice one, with an attentive and helpful staff. The location is quite good. It's fairly pricey even with a discounted rate, though, and the carpet in the room (unlike everything else) was dirty and heavily stained.

Reasonable value, good location, friendly front staff, and nice rooms. The pool area is fantastic- it's a full length pool, but does get very busy. Would definitely recommend for the business traveller.

I like to stay here when I come to Toronto. They have the perfect location. The hotel is connected to the PATH which is an underground path of shops which is connected to the Eaton Center. You can also access the subway from the PATH. We visited in Jan. and were able to leave the hotel and go shopping all...

I often stay at this Starwood property, usually 1 - 3 night stays, and love the property. It's centrally located, clean, updated, convenient and the staff is great! On my last stay they went ABOVE and BEYOND! I was travelling for work for 3 days and upon check-in the front desk employee realized it was my birthday based on my...

I couldn't get over how much fun the indoor to outdoor pool was...and not just for the kids, cause I loved it too! That was a highlight for us since we went during the winter months. The rooms were very clean, the room service was great, and one of my top favorite things was comfortable pillows!!!

Staff was really helpful. I asked them to change rooms as mine had a strange smoke smell. They offered a new room with no problems. Quite and comfortable room. We had breakfast at the lobby level grille. Nothing extraordinary. In fact, we chose a la carte breakfast because the buffet tables didn't look very appetizing.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
