I was down here last weekend. For business. The staff were friendly and always are. When I come down for business. We stay here all the time. Sure some upgrading has been done. And they are constantly working on it. Rooms are clean. This hotel is right a cross for City hall (Nathan Philips square) close to the Eaton center... More

I stay at Sheratons when I can and this is one of the best locations in Toronto. I've been here for business meetings, conferences, and weekend getaways with my wife. It's close to downtown shopping, theatre, nightlife, and dining if that what you seek. The hotel is quiet, everything works as it is supposed to, and service is consistently excellent.... More

This hotel can be rated differently depending on what you are looking for. Location: Right across from the Eaton Center and City Hall. Prime location with indoor access to Toronto's underground shopping Pathway. This is a prime location and if that is what you are looking for, than it is worth the money. Rooms: Rooms are very small. We had... More

I stayed at the Sheraton on the weekend while taking a workshop. We usually have workshops there, everything in one building! The staff make sure the water jugs are always full when we break. When checking in I asked for an upgrade, I was put in a very nice room with one queen bed vs 2 double. It was nice... More

Let's start by saying that I really like beer. I'm a recognized beer judge and one of my priorities when I visit a new city is to sample what delicious brews local brewers are crafting. It was a few years since I had set foot in Toronto and my recollection was that even though excellent craft beer could be found,... More

What a beautiful hotel. Service it top of the line. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff was very accommodating. Location is a 5 minute walk to the Eaton centre. Restaurants, shops and Starbucks in the lobby. Really a beautiful place to spend a few days.

Love this hotel.....it has a beautiful lobby, great local restaurants and close to tons of shopping and theatres. Starbucks is at the bottom of the elevator and very convenient for your morning coffee. The rooms are very spacious and have extremely comfortable beds with beautiful linens.

My hotel stay was excellent with clean quiet rooms. Staff were very friendly and professional. The conference facilities were perfect as was the food served at all the conference meals. Top rate facility and would highly recommend staying there. Parking is right across the street in the municipal lot with a quick one minute walk to the hotel. Four nights... More

The hotel was easy to navigate, the room was clean, and easy to move about the city by public transit close to the hotel, close to shopping and eateries. Planning to use the hotel again for next visit.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
