So we are at the 40th Toronto International Film Festival this week. It is spectacular but reasonably priced accommodations were a scarcity. So we found this little place off the web, Although it does not have a great rating..it is under rated. It is clean, safe, has all the amenities including laundry and a small very functional recently renovated kitchenette....

This is not a luxury hotel, but it's all right for a short stay. Rooms have been renovated, and the bathrooms are nice. Our room came with a kitchenette also, but we didn't need to use it. But if you want to save money by not going out to eat 3 times a day, it's good to have. The hotel...

Don't check in expecting luxury (it sounds like some of you might have done that, judging by the reviews). I will say that my room was impeccably clean with a very comfy bed and almost all the kitchen basics I might have needed (I didn't cook, but I could have!), and the staff was wonderfully courteous, friendly and helpful. The...

I stayed here for 2 weeks. Its a nice cozy place considering the price you pay. This place is quite close to downtown and other tourist attractions. No breakfast though!! People in the front desk are quite helpful and there are plenty of places to eat near by.

Room rates seemed quite low in the Springtime: I pre-booked online, and paid $89. + taxes - not bad for downtown Toronto. Outdoor parking was included. Not much service to talk of: the concierge was a young man, working on his laptop in the small lobby. But, he was pleasant, and I got my key with no problem. The room...

First we were only staying for two days and ended up making two different bookings which I know is strange. The request we made to the hotel was to make sure we stayed in the same room for the two days we were there and somehow they booked us for a third day and didn't let us know about it....

Very overpriced! Hotel in a run down area, the room small and had a bad smell. The air conditioning fan too loud. The decor very drab. The staff was helpful but was limited to what they could do for us. I would only give this motel 2 star rating.:((

For the $, Studio 6 was clean, had a pest free equipped kitchen we used both nights to fix dinner in, a pod coffee maker, firm bed and, with ear plugs, was relatively quiet. The neighborhood, though ugly, seemed safe enough. It is hard to find. Come in bia Dennison.

This hotel is perhaps a little off the beaten track, nestled on a fairly quiet side-street between Kensington Market and Chinatown. It's good to have a reasonably large fridge/freezer, a microwave (1600W and fairly large) and two hotplates, as well, as a kettle, crockery and cutlery. There's parking, but we left our car behind and took the Dundas streetcar; it's...
