This is a reasonably priced hotel downtown Toronto. It isn't luxurious but the emphasis is put in all the right places, particularly the beds. Very, very comfy, just like one of the higher end hotels.

Great location in downtown, reasonable price, standard room with complimentary wifi. Small shower and bathrooms that are relatively old, carpets are rather dirty. Not a trendy boutique hotel. It's a great place to stay if you do not want to spend most of the day/night in the hotel and just need a place to sleep.

I stayed here on the recommendation of my coworker for it's location to our daily meetings. While the location is amazing, I was overall a bit disappointed with my experience. My expectations were rather high once I walked into the lobby. It's been beautifully renovated and looks trendy, chic and clean. In addition, the MarketFresh and T bar were great...

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. Perfect for shopping at the Eaton Centre, close to lots of restaurants (try Salad King on Yonge for a great Thai spot) and great proximity to Yonge Dundas Square that usually has some type of entertainment pretty much at all times. The rooms are standard and clean, not as updated as...

Stayed here November 2014. First off, the lobby here is a mad house. Prior to the remodeling I stayed here a number times when it was still the Delta Chelsea and, despite the new coat of paint, it's just as crazy when you first walk in. That said, it's not necessarily a bad thing (it's actually kind of cool to...

Fantastic hotel, stayed here for 3 nights before heading up to a conference in Niagara Falls. I wish I could stay longer! The decor is a little dated, but I don't really care as long as it is clean and comfortable. The concierge service is excellent, never had a problem, staff are curious and respectful. The pool on the 27th...

Service was polite but slow. Temperatures in the hallways were freezing. The hotel pool temperatures are too cold to swim in. The heated pool area was closed with no reason provided. The room was below acceptable. Bathroom had could and toilet ran all night, room smelt of mildew with obvious water damage to walls that were not repaired. Very disappointing...

We stayed in a twin room and paid £640 for a flight from London and 5 nights at the Eaton. I found this excellent value as usually a flight to North America from England is around £500. I guess the room therefore cost around £55 per night between two people. I have stayed in Toronto before at the same time...

An many have said, this hotel is in a convenient location and has reasonable prices. It can be noisy though with people shouting in the hallways late at night, banging doors and generally making enough noise to wake you up. I would probably not stay there again and look for a quieter place. The rooms are functional but they could...

Booked in to the Chelsea with their all inclusive rate. Room was small but well appointed. The south facing balcony was great ( and completely pigeon poo free). Kids loved the pool. The beds were incredibly comfy. All the staff were helpful and polite.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
