Review based on stay of two adults, a 3 year old, and a one year old.

Stay: Hotel was in a great location, was very clean, and it had very friendly and helpful staff. Only con would be that the room was very small and you can definitely hear the planes overhead everytime they take off. We didn’t use the pool. Restaurant on site had good options for breakfast although was rather pricey.

Park and fly: shuttle staff were very helpful with our onslaught of baggage. Easily found a place to park without issue. Some reviews have said its a far walk to the hotel. We dropped our bags at the front, checked in, then parked. It was fine and not what I would consider a great distance whatsoever.

We would definitely stay here again! The CAA rate for our week away and hotel stay was comparable to just doing a park and fly without a stay.

This hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, making it perfect if you need to be close to the airport, and provide free shuttle service 24 hours, every 30 minutes, from/to the airport. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. It has few restaurants, including a bar that serves food until 12:00am which was very convenient.

Hotel very close to the airport, but not disturbed (planes can be heard in the distance). Equipped with a convenient shuttle to terminal one on the ground floor at the R3 exit of the airport.
In the hotel we took advantage of the gym, well equipped for both equipment and towels and water, and the swimming pool with hydromassage which provides towels for guests.
The rooms have comfortable beds and are a decent size for four people, the furniture should be renewed and the headboards dusted. The bathroom is a bit small, but equipped with everything needed for hygiene, ours unfortunately did not have a working fan. There is a walk-in closet with iron and ironing board. The internal bar/restaurant is a good solution for dinner at normal prices, but within a radius of 500m/1km there are many other solutions (Burger King, Boston Pizza, steak house...) reachable by sidewalks. Breakfast varies both in terms of dessert and salary. If you want, there is also a Starbucks and a small shop in case you have forgotten something. Free parking available on site. Courteous and helpful staff.

Booked this hotel after a late arriving flight with 3 small children because it was closeish to the airport and advertised a hotel shuttle. Arrived after midnight on time and called the hotel to check on the shuttle only to find that they only offer the shuttle until 11 pm.

Tried to get to another part of the airport with 3 little kids late at night to take an unsafe Uber and finally made it to the hotel after paying high demand rates.

Staff just said that they didnt offer a full time shuttle anymore because of Covid business levels When I pointed out that the levels had all come back they said " Well its a management decision"

Rooms were also much smaller than a standard hotel room.

Hello stevev946, Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry about your experience related to the hotel shuttle. We have been running with limited hours on our complimentary shuttle since the start of the pandemic as a result of business levels not returning to levels prior. We understand it appears busier now with domestic travel, however this simply is not the case on an overall basis. We are proactive in providing information related to our services and amenities on various channels, including our official website, on all major 3rd party websites, and send out pre-arrival emails to guests which we have info on file. Unfortunately, some 3rd party websites for last minute deals etc. do not provide us this info, so we may not have got to you in advance as best as we could have. Once again, we apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you.

If you are a conference organizer, you need to think twice before booking this hotel. The hotel is directly on the airport flight path and there is no sound proofing, other than a pair of foam ear plugs provided for each room. It is very difficult to get a good night's sleep at this hotel due to loud airplane noise throughout the night. We found that other hotels in the area do have sound proofing with much less airplane noise. If you book this hotel for a conference, please book your conference administrators, leaders, and speakers at another hotel where they can get the rest needed to do their work well.

I do want to mention the hotel staff who did their best to be accommodating in every way. I feel sorry for them because Marriott's lack of attention to this hotel sure has made it difficult for them to give their guests a good experience.

Hi bnghill, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. Your experience with the external noise from the airplanes is not up to our standard. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the Rooms Division & Maintenance Manager to look into the room condition and address as needed. I will also let the staff know of their hard work. Thank you.

A very convenient hotel less than 10 minutes from the airport. The room and lobby areas of the hotel were very clean with friendly staff throughout. The hotel offers on site parking for 8 days whilst you are on vacation for a little extra on top of your room fee, with a shuttle bus to get you to and from the airport. The only thing to watch for is that the shuttle bus does not run between 2am and 4am, unlike some other hotels in the area, so if your flight arrives within that time then you will have to find other means of getting back to the hotel (likely a taxi at a cost of approx $40 CAD for a 7 minute ride!!). There are a few restaurants opposite the hotel and an in house bar and restaurant in the lobby.

We stayed two nights as we were attending a holiday party in the area and wanted a staycation.

We enjoyed the pool and whirl pool which was not busy at all. We were given a nice upgraded room with a sofa and sitting area, however it was at the far end of the hotel and a little bit of a walk from the elevators. The room was nice and the amenities/toiletries offered great (sewing kit, shoe mint, scope, toothbrush, etc). The room had a fridge which came in handy and we used the Delta Pantry due to my Marriott status. It had coffee, chocolate milk, soft drinks available as well as chips and fruit. I choose the breakfast buffet in the restaurant as the amenity as they didn’t have a staffed lounge (pantry doesn’t have seats). Anisha in the restaurant was attentive and welcoming each morning.

The highlight was the omelette station and I forget the gentlemen’s name, however he remembered me from the morning before and was welcoming and friendly while making the perfect omelette with all fixings. He was engaging with all the guests and really started the morning off right.

Anita from housekeeping was great when she came to refresh our room and was able to locate an additional pair of slippers, which we love and quickly restock items.

I think that a hotel that doesn't provide a basic vanity kit (cotton ear buds are a must! I hate it when I have water in my ears after showering) or a laundry bag doesn't deserve a high score.
The room is ok, signs of age. Long corridor to get to my room. Very basic and kind of depressing colors and vibes for me at least. Staff is friendly.

This is the worst hotel to stay at! If you care about your health and well being, do yourself a favour and don’t book this hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights and I got bitten by so many bed bugs. I have bites all over my arms and legs!! When we informed the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said the manager will call me after. The entire management and staff don’t seem to care about anything, because no matter how many times I call them to talk to a manger, conveniently, the manager is not around. I was told by the front desk that they would get someone to come check the room for bed bugs and send me an official report afterwards, but no one has sent anything. No one is reaching out to me, I have to call them multiple times a day to talk to someone because if I don’t reach out, no one will contact me. They don’t care about the safety and hospitality of their guests, and it’s super frustrating that no one is taking these health issues seriously. If I could rate this a 0/5 I would.

Excellent stay! We had a King room with Sofa Bed and were happy with the space. Appreciated all the extra amenities, including fridge and microwave. Best touch was from housekeeping, who arranged my daughter’s stuffies into cute poses every day. Hotel location is convenient for driving, but not so much for transit to downtown. Pool area is nice but needs some TLC and staff onsite when large crowds are swimming. Lobby bar is a fun atmosphere. We would happily stay again!
