Delta Hotels recently joined the Marriott group of hotels and that certainly was an added attraction for staying at this hotel in addition to its convenient location. The hotel is centrally located with easy exit and easy entrance to Highway 401. It is very convenient for getting either to the airport or to the city center. While credits for the...

First - check in process was terrible. No information given about restaurants, pool hours or even which way to head to our room. No fridge in our room, tried to order in room movie but parental control had been installed on our tv so we had to call front desk to order, no problem...except that the line for front desk...

This is not a downtown Toronto Hotel but one near Scarborough center and Toronto zoo. You have to take your car to go everywhere. There is however a bus that will get you to Kennedy subway station. I was never able to find Midland station ( see below ) Good points: price were good considering we were there during the...

We have stayed at many Delta hotels as well as travelled extensively around the world. Sometimes we stay in five star places, sometimes 2 star - what I expect is to get what is advertised. This trip was an end of the summer trip for our 6.5 year old daughter before heading back to school next week. As a Pediatrician...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as part of a business trip. The reception at the front desk was great and the room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the bar. Sagano is closed on Mondays. The service again was terrific. The food mediocre. The following morning we skipped the $16 breakfast buffet - we both...

Delta Toronto East was a nice modern hotel, family friendly, good internet, clean comfortable rooms. We stayed here for one night on our Canadian tour, and honestly couldn't fault the place . A safe bet.

Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge was sitting on the floor like it was added as an afterthought. Pool\hottub is open concept with water slide. It's very popular with families and kids alike. We Didnt choose to eat here restaurants and bar situated above the pool\zoo. (Way too noisey to engage in conversation). This hotel is looking shabby and dated....

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
