Very clean hotel, friendly staff and walking distance to many attractions and shopping downtown. We were unable to check in early but saw others walk up and get checked in. A little disheartening but we were able to eventually get checked in and had a good stay overall.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and the location is perfect . We could walked to everywhere to visit and to dine at excellent restaurants in the city. The only inconvenient is the air circulation, we needed to leave the A/C on and it is noisy and hard to have the right temperature. The personnel is friendly.

I usually stay at other hotels in the Toronto area but given that the Toronto film festival was on it was tough to find rooms at my usual choices so we chose this property out of necessity. Actually glad we did. It was a great location and turned out to be surprisingly comfortable and the service was great. The beds... More

Stopped here for 3 nights. I found reception staff to be fine, and we had breakfast there one morning which we found ok. The rooms are small but very adequate tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board, safe. Large comfy bed and pillows and was clean and tidy. And we had a view of the CN Tower which made... Reasonable mid-town location, not far from Dundas Street where the tourist buses start. Disappointingly the receptionist who booked us in had no idea what the Hilton package we'd booked was. Don't book a Hilton Leisure Escape as it's not good value at this hotel. Room was a good size, had all the usual facilities including a decent coffee maker with... More

My son an I spent 6 nights here, the first of September. The rooms were very clean. The staff was excellant. They always made us feel welcome even if we were just riding in the elevator. This hotel was fine, but not up to the normal Hilton standard. The room was rather small, and we could not get an upgrade as the hotel was too busy. The reception staff seemed to be distracted when we booked in. The hotel is rather we'll situated to tour downtown.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
