I stayed at the DoubleTree for a conference. The rooms look to be newly-renovated. The bathroom has plenty of space for all my things - one of my pet peeves are hotels that have enough room on or near the sink for toiletries. The desk was a good size for spreading out papers and a laptop. The location is great;...

I had an enjoyable four night stay at the hotel - my room was ready upon arrival, and checking in was easy and efficient. Like others have said, you get a warm cookie given to you on arrival. My room on 17th floor was very comfortable and kept clean. I had no issues with wifi reception either. All of the...

Found the hotel very nice, clean. The rooms nice size, fridge was a welcome extra. Staff very polite, were happy to hold luggage, until check in time. Location close to eaton centre, and lots of other attractions. Breakfast is a little costly, but very nice if you feel like splurging a little. It was nice after spending all day walking...

This is a great hotel, with a good price for the location. We walked everywhere, including to the Blue Jays game. Big Mall a few blocks from hotel, with Kensington Market, farmers market, Distillery District, China Town, and plenty of eating places. I would stay at this hotel again👍 The rooms are clean and beds are amazing. Oh, and I...

Expect pricing for your typical business hotel. This is a hotel that has been around for a long time, and has been rebranded (and refurbished) under the Doubletree name. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
