Hallways and elevator are disgusting. Room was roomy, felt like a converted apartment. Didn't feel like a hotel. Good for an overnight trip if you arrive late and leave early, just need a cheap place to crash.

We were expecting to stay at a nice hotel since it is located in Yorkville and the price suggested that it was comparable to other TO hotels. First off, there was NO parking! Or even a place to drop off. We had to park 3 floors below the Whole Foods next door. Then we had to carry our suitcases up...

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with your accommodations. We are a budget hotel located in the heart of Yorkville. Sorry you were not informed about where to park. We do offer ample underground parking in our neighboring buildings. Just so you are aware, guest can drive to the back of the hotel to unload baggage before parking in the...

Hotel is scheduled to be replaced according to sign on side of hotel. Furnishings are below average, and apparently intended to finish out the next year or so. Getting in from a car is on a Neanderthal level. The worst.. when I found I had been over billed compared to their quote and Wyndham's web site , they have neglected...

Thank you for your feedback. With regards to the pre-authorization, this is a common practice within the hotel industry. Additional amount for incidentals is taken on hold, and can take up to 5-10 days to be released, depending on your financial institution. If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me directly and i will gladly follow...

Booked ahead..read the reviews..thought it can't be that bad..yes it was and worse! We couldn't stay and ended up canceling our reservation half hour after arrival. My head was aching from the musty moldy smell and my cheeks were on fire. The plus was Al at the front desk ! He could see we were not able to stay there for...

This hotel is absolutely horrible. There has not been any effort to update or modernize since it was built likely in the late 70s. There is mold in the bathroom, the furnishings are sad but worst of all there is that lingering smell of smoke, really heavy, overwhelming smell. The carpets are filthy and the hallways are horrible. I can't...

Sorry to hear you do not have an enjoyable stay with us. This property is scheduled for a complete re development which will address the condition of the hotel, however, we do offer great value for the Yorkville area. As for the smoking smell, any guests smoking in their guestrooms are investigated and dealt with accordingly. My apologies.

Made a good deal via Expedia but when I arrived, the clerk said my reservation was cancelled. They had rooms available but they were at least double the price. I made a quick reservation because of certain events and figured I would iron it out later. No rooms were available YET but would be within the hour. When we went...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
