The rooms are small, but clean and well equipped. This hotel is for people who are busy and just looking for a place to lay their heads, shower and go about their business. This area is becoming quite trendy and there are many new restaurants nearby. The transit, while somewhat loud due to the streetcars turning, will whisk you up...

]The rooms are very small but they were clean. A/C worked good, parking was 3 blocks away but was only 5 buck a day with in/out privileges so that was worth it. I think if you have the money, you would want to upgrade to a hotel with larger rooms. If you are watching your budget, this hotel is ok.

We stayed here while in town for a show. Our room was very small but clean so we laughed it off (it was just a place to sleep afterall) 5$ parking 3 blocks away was a lil sketchy but cheap parking in TO. the fella behind the desk was very helpful and friendly. Short walk to all kinds of bars...

Sketchy area, rooms were cold, small and dirty. There was an offensive smell once you got into the upstairs hall. The hotel is right next to a street car depo so there was constant noise from that. Also some questionable activity with certain people hanging around outside the hotel and a few incidents we heard during the night! We were woke at 5am by someone...

I called the hotel directly to inquire about their pet policy and to get a breakdown of all fees. When I arrived I was told that a $100 security fee and a parking fee would be charged, neither was given. The hold on my credit card was $100 more than the room costs. I sent 3 emails to the General...

My friend and I booked a room here for one night over the weekend. We never even checked in because we just felt do, uncomfortable in the area. I can't say much about the rooms since we didn't get that far. I will say I am happy the staff was understanding and allowed us to cancel our room. The area...

We stayed at this hotel to be close to Toronto Western Hospital, where my husband had surgery. It was a lovely place to stay, and a very quiet room.We were also given the hospital discount which was a great help to us. Thank you for your information and help from the front desk. Eugene even let me use his cell phone to phone...

I recently booked this hotel for proximity to our excursion and then checked out within an hour. I didn't feel comfortable or safe there. I told the front desk he pictures aren't representative of the hotel and misleading. In didn't even unpack anything. I ended up still being charged for the room which, I suppose is my fault however the...

Stayed at this hotel because we wanted an inexpensive hotel for 1 night stay in Toronto in this specific area. This was the only hotel in the area. The room was fine. Small, but fairly clean. What I would expect from a 2 star hotel for less than $100. My problem was with the front desk staff. I arrived to...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
