I just stayed here again, and thought I would share the experience. I usually drive into Toronto, so you have to watch the traffic. This hotel is easy to get to off the Don Valley Parkway. Just a few blocks along Bloor. There is a big parking garage at the rear of the hotel. Easy access in and from the...

We stayed at the Holiday in for a week. The facilities were good and the staff very helpful. The room we had was a tad smaller than we expected but it had a decent shower, hairdryer and a safe. The location wasn't too bad either with transport links and you could walk to most areas (although we are used to...

Great location for the Toronto Eaton Shopping Centre! The staff were friendly and willing to help, especially when it came to reconfirming tours or airport shuttles. The room was a little on the small side. A double bed room for two adults with four large suitcases.. A little inconvenient as we the floor space was taken up by the suitcases....

Stayed in a room with 2 double beds, location very good 1 block from the subway and easy to get around. The room itself was small but quiet even being near the elevator. The heating and air conditioning system seemed to struggle to keep the room comfortable but ultimately it did the job. Cora is a great place for breakfast...

Room: My room was facing the street, was noisy. The room heater was not able to keep up with the chill. There was a gap between the window glass and the air conditioning window unit. Food: The breakfast spread was good, but got bored of the same options. Stayed there for more than 2 weeks. The guys manning the restaurant...

I went there for a family trip and I must say I was very impressed and satisfied with my experience there. The location is very convenient since it's located in the centre of downtown, the staffs are very friendly, free parking spaces, and you'll also get a free and fresh breakfast. If you're going to Toronto and you're looking for...

I got back home yesterday after spending 10 nights at this hotel. It was my first trip to Canada and my first furthest trip solo and for so many days. I wanted to get away and what better way to do it then come to Toronto. So the past two weeks were quiet in Toronto not to forget the freezing...

The staff at the hotel were so friendly especially the bell man who helped us out so much. We stayed there for two weeks and the hotel was great. The location is good, Loblaws just 3 minutes walk, Starbucks just downstairs, many choices of food around if you're hungry. Room is very small but clean. The curtain is not really good, the lights from outside will come on easily. If you are a light sleeper, you could easily be awake in the morning as this hotel is very very...

Have stayed here 5+ times for business and there is always an issue with the hot water. I've taken my share of Luke warm showers at this hotel. Good convenient location. Drinks in the bar are far to expensive. It's ok, but will be looking elsewhere.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
