Stayed over one night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We very happy with our room. The parking was a little expensive. Hotel was clean and near enough to the center of the city tram and subway were within walking distance. We would stay again.

I recently spent a 3 day weekend with my granddaughter who was participating in a dance summer intensive programme being held at the National Ballet School. The hotel was perfectly located for us to walk to the school within about 5 min. Our junior suite had a livingroom with couch (pullout) chair coffee table lamps tv, fridge coffee maker and...

Started well, ended up miserable. Room needed serious refreshing but evrerything worked fine. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom a little small but functional. Breakfast ok but slow, only one waiter. First two nights were ok, the last one was a disaster. The hotel placed across our room 7 hockey players adamant to party all night. I saw their...

Once we have a complaint we immediately investigate and start the process. If there are more than 1 room causing noise it may take a little longer however...

Room was adequate, service was sub par and attitude of staff ranged from very helpful and knowledgable to a bitty testy and rude. Area around the hotel was not the best and at night was very uncomfortable.

Booked a night at this hotel as I was staying in Toronto for a concert. Had selected the hotel due to the full refund cancellation because we were unsure if we were going to stay in the city over night. Concert went late so we decided to head the the hotel and as we began paperwork my friend was outside...

Comfy beds, clean rooms, excellent and friendly customer service. I didn't want to leave. I was doing a complete reno of my condo and needed a place to stay. The Ramada was exactly right for me. Right downtown in Toronto. I highly recommend the Ramada Plaza on Jarvis Street. Special thanks to Edwin, Scott and the front desk staff.

This is the second time We've stayed with this hotel and I'm very happy with my stay! The girls on nights were amazing and very helpful. The price was a little more than I expected but sucked it up nonetheless. I'll be back in September maybe the price will be a little less:)

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
