Absolutely amazing. We arrived early - they looked after our bags and prioritised our room so we could check in early. Bought extra robes up for our children, helped with printing ice hockey tickets and then gave us a late checkout as well. Breakfast delicious every morning. Across the road from the Air Canada Centre and Union Station. If you...

We stayed here because we like modern hotels and we were also going to a concert that weekend. If you're seeing anyone at Air Canada Centre then stay here! It's literally 100ft away. Beds are comfy and the bathroom is cool. Avoid the breakfast. Concierge will help you with anything. (( flower petals sprinkled on the floor while you're gone...

I've stayed several times at this location and I must say that the response, quality and overall experience is consistently excellent. It's hard to describe this hotel any other way than "sensual". Not in a cheap way; in a classy, warm inviting way. Highly recommend it.

The staff at Le Germaine are always very accommodating.....front desk, concierge and breakfast staff. Also, so handy to Union Station when you come to Toronto by Via Rail. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel.

The pluses... Beautiful decor, from the lobby to the guest rooms. Comfy beds. Great location for both business travellers and tourists. Starbucks and fabulous grocery store downstairs that is open from 7am-11pm for easy access to snacks. The negatives... apathetic front desk staff and a concierge desk that is generally empty (and when there was a person there, she was...

This is our 3rd stay with the hotel. It's faultless and such good value for money. Location is great. Right across from the station and walking distance to most of the city attractions. You're right next to the CN Tower and the Rodgers Centre. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and always spotless. We love the Molton Brown products....

This hotel is part of the le germain hotel chain. It's located across from the maple leaf square so lots of action during game day but it is also connected to the mall behind the hotel where trendy restaurants, sports bars, lcbo, Starbucks and a lingots grocery store are all accessible from inside. Great during cold snowy months. As for...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
