I've been three times in Toronto, and every time I come back to this hostel. It's located in the GTA area, five minutes away walking from Dundas Square, the central hub of downtown. They offer now in winter weekly rates, worth considering. It's clean, and...More
My first stay & I felt comfortable throughout. The location is excellent; I used to easily walk to most of tourist attractions. The front desk staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms & bathrooms were clean. The breakfast had an array of choices including...More
Helpful staff, clean place, good breakfast (included), nice dorms (go for the 4-bed-rooms) and always clean washrooms. Though a bit noisy some nights, although nothing serious. A perfect central downtown option for the solo traveler.
Great location in the city! Everything was in walking distance.
Dorms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a great bonus! Really good value for money.
Good fun in the evenings, karaoke, live bands, comedians - great vibe.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

I don't remember how long the beds are, but I did request a bottom bed in advance when I booked the reservation, and they were able to accommodate. Security was very good I thought. A key must be used to get to the main kitchen area where the elevators to the rooms are, then key is used for the elevator (if I remember correctly), and then key for your room.

Apart from the lockers placed by the bunk bed, there is enough space under the bunk beds where you can fit your luggage....under thr bed, or some rooms have space beside the beds...Also, there is luggage storage place in the entrance where the reception desk is! It is a pretty safe luggage storage room. Good trips and good luck!
