The location within Kensignton Market is the only thing going for this place. Booked a private room paying 90 bux a night only to find it contained literally "a bed" and "a tv". No desk or table or chair or towel or extra sheets or even a closet or hangers for clothes. Room was freezing cold because you have to...

I heard horror stories of this place and simply not true. The new owners are doing a ton of renos to the place and it is extremely clean compared to rumours. I've been here for awhile and it has gotten soooo much better every week. I'm checking out soon and haven't got a bad review of the staff. Only problems...

I don't think this review should affect you if you're staying for a few nights, just know that internet rarely works, and at a very slow speed. if you're staying longer, keep reading. I spent 3 weeks in this hostel, only because i paid for the entire period in advance. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this place...

I stayed here in August of 2014. My experience staying here was sufficiently negative that I wrote down my thoughts at the time and vowed to leave an accurate review at some point. The only positive thing about staying here was the location. Upon arriving, I had to wait ~1 hour just to get a room different from the one...

If all you need is a bed this is it. Bed and room was very clean. But it was barebone... WiFi was spotty, the free breakfast was a joke. I would definitely come back in a pinch to get a good night's rest.

Stayed 2 nights in a 4 bed dorm, which was very clean, apparently fairly new mattresses on the bunk beds were comfortable. Washrooms/showers were impeccably clean. Looked like they had been recently renovated. Communal kitchen is old, but reasonably clean given its age & vocation. Lounge is dingy, & dirty. It didn't inspire me to hang out there, but that...

I arrived in Toronto and was greatly surprised by this Hostel . The rooms were really good and clean and the staff was super friendly. They did everything they could to make us comfortable. I had read a couple of negative comments so I was a little skeptical . The new management has taken great steps to fix this place.It...

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Toronto's main Chinatown has the honor of being the largest in North America. Gaping down across Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, the area is a wonderful medley of shops and restaurants, busy signs and bright red gates, a destination for foodie fun. Chinatown's streets are always bustling, packed with people and outdoor stalls hawking fresh produce and products. The restaurants and authentic marketplaces that shoulder in against each other display shining roast ducks and menus studded with dumplings and noodle bowls. The air is pervaded with music. different languages, and the smell of fried food and mouth-watering desserts. Chinatown's restaurants represent a broad range of fare, from traditional Szechuan and Shanghai foods, to other Asian delicacies, including some of the top Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean spots in the city. Whether you're in the mood for a sit-down tea house or a bubble tea to go, Chinatown is the spot to enjoy an exciting walk and the promise of leaving satisfied.
