This review is going to be a little bit mixed so please stay with me, I'm going to begin on a positive note...
The location of this hostel is excellent, really close to all the main attractions, in an easily accessible area from all transit...More
This is not luxury, but the rooms are clean and functional and a few have private bath. The location, just a 10 minute easy walk from Union Station, makes it ideal. Not having 24 reception can be a problem if you intend to arrive late....More
Location of this hostel was great, but very noisy and paper thin walls, very young people staying there, felt old even though in late 20's, and it seems more like a long term residence for students than a hostel for tourists. We had booked a...More
Clean hostel with great communal areas and kitchen. Super close to every amenity we needed (food, MTCC, CN Tower, seriously everything!) and they also provided blankets/towel/pillow etc. The staff I personally encountered was friendly and helpful. Some criticism/words of caution that may help someone make...More
Worst guest house never seen, loudly and not 100% clean
No one to welcome in the lobby they do not care about you because 100% of the customers are ef students
They reduce the water consumption

Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe
Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.

There are a number of attractions that are listed with the Clarence park and the staff are very helpful when it comes to helping book attractions. They have a nice walking tour of the city, as well as a reasonably priced tour to Niagara Falls that you can book. They do have onsite computers that the guests can use to research and book attractions, or the staff would be happy to assist you in booking as well.
