Great experience, loved the hotel / suite. Both we're very homey, suite was a nice size. Amazing location only a couple min walk from union station, hockey hof , ACC and many restaurants. 10-15 mins to Rogers centre /CN Tower and Ripleys aquarium. Service was excellent . Even though our check-in was at 3 they had a room available for...

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We stayed in a suite and were blown away with how lovely it was. The staff at this hotel are truly one of a kind!! Special recognition to Gina, the amazing lady who runs the show. We were 3 hours early for check in and she still accommodated us with no...

Great room and price. Excellent value in a prime location where most of the desired amenities were a short walk, bus or cab ride. Service was friendly and consistent. It's a large enough facility to have the needed services but feels like a boutique hotel. I will definitely stay there again. My girlfriend is still thanking me for our surprise...

All very good, but I miss the little bamboo plants. We asked for some more coffee and they brought it no problem. One of my favorite places to stay. Great location and friendly staff. My try someplace else next time we escape but still good

I was pleasantly surprised to come across this hotel in the heart of Toronto. It came with a cute kitchen and lounge that were rather spacious and really clean. The staff are friendly and are always willing to help. Well done! Really enjoyed my stay here!

Hotel was clean with a friendly staff. This Hotel is located very close ACC (10min. walk). The hotel location was in a perfect location for a nice night out in downtown Toronto. I would recommend this hotel to friend, just be prepared to pay for parking ($40 a night is what I paid).

Room had a full kitchenette, small stove, fridge, mini dishwasher and a bar as a table. Work laptop did not like the wifi and had to work my way around to connect. No vending machine in the building but expensive minibar in the room. In-house pub has awesome ribs. Staff is accomodating and polite. But they do not accept prepaid...

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan for 4 nights and loved it. Our suite was comfortable, quiet and pretty. The service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the lack of an up-to-date TV without a DVD player or memory stick plug in. However, we would definitely return.!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

“A note that there is still work being done in some of the hotel suites and so there could be some noise associated with that. Also, there are other buildings under construction around the property, so you will hear some noise from that, but not so intrusive that it will interfere with your enjoyment. ”
of 5 bubbles StonebridgeFoodie, 8 Jan 2017 | Read review
“Ask for extra plates, pans, pots, cutlery, kettle, paper towels before you head up to your room, most likely they are missing anyway. Don't buy too many things that need a fridge, there was barely any room in the mini-fridge if you plan on cooking and keeping food in there. ”
