Stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding close by. Wish we were able to stay longer and enjoy the facility a little longer. There is much to see in the hotel and surrounding area in this restored building with much history. Tim Burton Halloween Party had some great costumes and interesting characters. Suggestion for potential guests would be to...

We had originally contracted with an Airbnb for our stay in Toronto but it turned out to be a BIG disappointed. We were so lucky to have found the Gladstone-it turned our vacation around. Hope to stay there again!

I know my son and his wife chose the location and it suits their personalities perfectly but as their mother and being older I found it too noisy and difficult to maneuver the floors with the elevator not always available

Awesome stay with a wedding group to this hotel. I have stayed at many Toronto hotels and this was a great experience. If you are into the Queen west vibe and have some time to shop and stroll along this area there are so many great experiences. I did not have time to do this but I know the area...

Beautiful hotel, great location, super cool and fun rooms/and hotel overall. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Room temperature is important and this was also perfect. Just the right size for me and my boyfriend. We chose the elemental room.

Don't expect to walk into a high end boutique hotel for a weekend of pampering. this is not what the Gladstone is about. It is a hipster hangout with lots going. I mean lots. From dressed down casual friendly staff to the Thursday night drag show packed to the rafters with 30 somethings having a blast. Rooms are very well...

Accommodating staff friendly and courteous .very busy hotel .artist designed rooms lighting in room needs improving and seating in Cafe needs refurbishing. Parking is an issue as hotel has only 6 to 9 parking spots across the street in the strip mall.

Great staff, facilities, food, drink and art. Lots to do in a location that is central and well positioned. Plus, I liked the history of the building and the chance to see how artists are integrated into such a rich public place.

Planning a wedding ceremony, even for just a few people, was one of the most stressful things I've ever done. Fortunately, when I got in touch with the Gladstone, Hayley, the rooms manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. When my wife and I came to see the room, she showed us herself and even offered to have tables set up...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
