My husband and I recently stayed at this B&B on our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful place to celebrate. The home has been lovingly restored and cared for by the owner. It is located in a lovely neighbourhood and only a block away from High Park. I had no idea there was such a quiet and peaceful park in the middle...

We very much enjoyed our stay this week at By the Park. All the bases for a great B and B were exceptionally well covered. Our room was perfect - very nicely decorated, bright, cozy and spotless. The breakfast was great - plentiful, tasty and nicely served. And our hosts, Margo and Ziggy, were really nice and very accommodating. We...

We stayed in the grand loft apartment and it looks exactly like the photos. Clean and quiet you couldn't ask for more. My wife is a vegetarian, so the fact the breakfast is vegan only was a nice change for her and wasn't something a meat eater like myself was too bothered about. There is a tube station across the...

Right from the initial email to check out everything was 100% The owners made sure everything was above par. They got me a ride hook up to and from the airport, checked me into my room, showed me how everything worked as well, all the amenities in the area. The locations is superb for food and getting out on Bloor...

Clean, fresh and cute place - the hosts were very friendly and helpful - would recommend it highly. We stayed in the non-breakfast location which is across the street from the hosts' other full-breakfast bed and breakfast accommodation - which is beautiful with more luxurious rooms. Our choice was wonderful for our needs and fit our budget better. Both locations...

Perfect location for a family event nearby. We parked the car and walked or took the Ttc. Great, comfortable rooms and wonderful hosts. We have passed on your business card to several people. Will definitely return, better than staying in a hotel downtown. Enjoyed breakfast and interesting conversation with the other guests.

Stayed here while on business and was not disappointed. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable which meant I was probably more rested than if I stayed in a hotel. Margo and Ziggy are the best hosts. They provided recommendations for dinner....went to the Cubana for Cuban food which was less than a 15 minute wal...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
