Tripadvisor gives a Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.

Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Good price for given comfort and service. Toronto center is not so far, so easily can be travelled with train. Market places are 5-10 minutes away with walk. If you are looking for place for sleep and to do your necessary thinks in the town, than its the best place. Free coffee, tea, biscuits in the reception 7/24. Free parking place, wifi, TV channels are not bad.

The motel is located in the suburb of Etobicoke next to a busy highway, but you could hardly hear the traffic at night. The rooms and bathrooms are modernized, the beds were comfortable and everything was super clean. All the staff were polite and accommodating. Unfortunately there is no breakfast, but you can always get drinks (coffee, tea and juice) from reception. There is a Tim Hortons opposite. The metro station is 5 km away, from which you can get to the city center in 45 minutes. The price and performance are right and I preferred staying here to staying in a high-priced hotel in downtown Toronto.

I had a concert at Budweiser Stage September 24 and all the hotels in and around Toronto were ridiculous prices. We arrived about half an hour before check in and the front desk agent was able to get us a room that was just cleaned. We had a room with two queen beds and soon as we opened the door it all we could smell was CLEAN! The window is small but I'm not there to look out the window. We were about halfway down the building so noise from the expressway was not an issue. There was a bar fridge and a microwave which came in handy (the bar fridge for us). The bathroom was updated and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy and we slept well. I went down to the lobby to get some water from the dispenser, which was turned off as it's normally only on until 11AM for the juice options. The front desk agent turned it on so I could get some water.
PROS: Great price, comfy beds/pillows, great location, friendly staff. Tim Horton's next door! CONS: only saw one ice machine on the first floor by lobby. No shower chair for disabled people to use in the shower. They ask for a $200 hold on your CC upon check in which I think is excessive.
Overall, this is a great, affordable option for a trip to Toronto. Right off the expresswa & very close to shopping. A no frills place to stay that won't break the bank!

Checked through Booking and this was $100 or more less than other airport hotels, although 2 Uber trips lessened the difference.
Check in staff were very good, room was quiet, bed and pillows very comfortable, nice bathroom and everything was clean.
Had a great sleep.
Check out was very easy and the hound staff person at 6:00am, originally from Nigeria, was very pleasant to talk to as I waited for Uber.
My best compliment is that I would gladly stay here again.

This hotel does not allow guide dogs (and I assume any type service animal). I pre-booked a room at this hotel through a third party. My daughter is blind and has a guide dog Ivan who travels with her every where she goes. When we arrived to check in we were informed that dogs were not allowed at this hotel. We explained to the front desk employee that Ivan is a guide dog and by law they cannot deny him access to their hotel. After much discussion with the employee (trying to educate him), I requested to speak to a manager. The employee called the manager and I am guessing he explained what had transpired (he did not speak to the manager in English so I am not really sure what was said). The employee told us that the manager told him that we were not allowed to stay. We requested to speak with the manager while the employee had him on the phone, however he refused to speak with us. My daughter was extremely upset and embarrassed by the whole incident. She felt demeaned and humiliated. She will be pursuing this further as her human rights have been violated, however we thought it was important that we inform people what type of hotel this is. It is a hotel that discriminates against people who are disabled, does not treat people with dignity and does not care about human rights!!

Response from Canadas Best Value Inn, General Manager at Canadas Best Value Inn Toronto
Responded Sep 25, 2024
We want to clarify that we do not discriminate against anyone. While we are not a pet-friendly hotel, we do allow service animals, and our staff must ask for valid proof to ensure compliance with our policies. During your visit, we requested documentation to verify that the dog was a guide dog, but we were met with hostility, which made the situation difficult. We processed your refund as soon as you requested it. On your subsequent visits, we did not receive any documentation to support your claim. When you returned with a companion and began recording, you eventually showed a disability card as you were leaving. If this documentation had been provided initially, we would have gladly accommodated you. It is necessary for us to ask for proof, especially since we cannot identify the animal as a guide dog without seeing the required documentation. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction. I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my stay: Rude Staff: The behavior of motel's staff was unprofessional and unwelcoming. They were dismissive and unhelpful when I raised concerns, which left a negative impression. Water Issues: Upon entering my room, I discovered there was no water. When I approached the staff they addmitted there were prolonged periods with no water supply, which is unacceptable. It was especially frustrating that staff was aware of these issues but failed to inform guests in advance. This lack of communication is highly inconvenient and shows a lack of consideration for all guests. Refund Refusal: Despite the significant inconvenience caused by the water issues, I was not offered a refund. Instead, I was told to "wait patiently" for the water to resume in 4 hours. This response was inadequate and added to the frustration of an already unpleasant situation. I am very disappointed with the service I received and the overall management of the motel. I strongly advise against staying at this motel. There are many other good and affordable options nearby that offer better service and amenities.

I prepaid for my room July 30th for November 16th through Priceline. When we got there we were told that it showed our room was cancelled. I showed proof that Priceline had not cancelled and in fact i had just received an itinerary email that morning. He said there was nothing he could do, it was on price lines end. He then offered me a different, smaller room than the one i booked for 2x the price...Taylor Swift was in town, so i had to take it...He than gave me the wrong number to Priceline. When i made it to the horrible room i was able to contact Priceline who told me the booking had not been cancelled and i should have my room available. The man from Priceline called the front desk and got the same run around. It is obvious that the hotel wanted to charge more then the $140 deal i got in July. This is by far the worst experience i have ever had and will never be going back.

The hotel was extremely well priced for the value. The reception area person was very friendly and provided free coffee/tea/juice. The room was very basic as expected but it was clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We requested an extra pillow which the cleaning lady promptly provided. We would definitely recommend this hotel and also go back if we are in the area.

You are literally right up against the highway. The room itself is nice but you cannot get a good night's sleep. The airconditioner was right up against the bed so we did not use else would be like a freezer. We were more tired leaving than when we arrived. The security deposit was not mentioned so hopefully I get it credited back.

Economy place suited for those with flight connections at Pearson International. This is a motel style place but it has a new building that seems a little smarter. Showers are good and beds are comfortable. Check out is 11am and there's a free late checkout until noon.

Yes there is. Right across the hotel, you can catch the bus, take it directly to the Subway and from there, Subway straight downtown Toronto. This total journey, a maximum of 45 mins.
At this time of year, you're actually better off staying outside the city center. If you want to see a variety of attractions, both inside and outside the city center, you're better off remaining outside the grind on the inside.
Use public transport once you find inner-city parking and time your entry to and exit from the city to off-peak hours.
There are more places to choose from in the Toronto area.
