We only stayed one night at The Hazelton Hotel, but during our brief stay we found the hotel staff to all be extremely helpful and polite. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. I'm not sure it's worth the expense - $700+ for one night.
Location was simply perfect for our first visit to Toronto. The hotel design was spectacular in every way (but honestly for the price I was expecting nothing less). What sets this hotel far apart from its competitors, locally and globally, is the service. From pulling up to the valet and from every moment beyond we were simply blown away by the attention to detail. Our pillow preference, the way we like the temperature set, the COOKIES, the fact that we have 3 last names in our family and they addressed us all properly (no easy fete), help with everything and anything, welcoming our brand new granddaughter with as much excitement as we had and on and on and on! The ONE restaurant also truly exceeded our expectations. We are extensive travelers and former food industry employees (a lifetime ago but the passion is still there) and frankly tend to not favor hotel restaurants. Even at the highest end they are usually necessary amenities and nothing ultimately exciting. You must ignore the price point (which is very high) and dive in. The menu is thoughtful and current without being trendy and is executed to perfection. We had 5 meals there in our 4 days and honestly couldn't even rate which was best. Special thanks to Angela and Alejandra who made us feel more like family, (very honored and treasured family, mind you) than simply hotel guests. Regards to the entire team, day, night and everyone in between as well. We are forever grateful and look forward to coming back.…
I stayed at this Hotel as I wanted to try the best hotel. Unfortunately, it wasn't up to my standards. Main reason? My wife felt disrespected at check-in as she was totally ignored. The receptionist only addressed me and ignored her. He offered me water but not her. In an era of equality this did not fly. No need to tell you it ruined my stay. However, I like that they served Flow water on a silver tray, a nice touch. The rest of my stay was average as the first experience dictated the overall. I think this hotel needs to work on these details for the future.
From the moment I pulled in to valet my car, every interface with hotel staff was exceptional. Tips for travel to other parts of town, reservations made on my behalf to 1 Restaurant, the cleanliness and tranquility in the fitness room and pool, as well as bringing the luggage down from the room while I was with friends at the lounge and checking me out of the room, loading my car with luggage and always having it available should I need it. The ambience throughout the property was exceptional. The Hazelton is definitely home away from home.
The Hazelton Hotel was fantastic! Exceeded our expectations and beyond! We stayed in the Executive Suite and it was exceptional! We very much enjoyed the hotel all around and the staff/service was wonderful! Highly recommend staying at the Hazelton. We will definitely be returning.
The most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at! We went for my partners birthday and the entire experience from start to finish was a personalized one of a kind experience. The wonderful team upgraded our room and in the room was a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries and a hand written note welcoming us and wishing my partner a happy birthday. In the gorgeous bathroom around the tub was tea light candles, a bowl of fresh rose petals and a beautiful gift basket full of every toiletry you could think of and of course some bath bombs. From the warm friendly welcome from the smiling valet to the amazing service from the front desk team to the fully guided bedroom tour from the bellhop. Everything you could think of this hotel delivered. The hotel is gorgeous, the location is perfect and the food is amazing. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to The Hazelton Hotel team, you made our visit unforgettable! Thank you thank you. …
I recently stayed @ The Hazelton for business and the staff mentioned the recent changes in their Spa and fitness centre, which intrigued me to use the facilities. The amenities were 2nd to none, including a cup of coffee in the room while checking out their new state of the art treadmills & Peloton bikes. Watching Netflix while on the treadmill was not what I expected to do during my stay. My room was perfect after my workout, comfortable, relaxing and all the amenities (again) that I expected & comes with a luxury hotel. My wife will have to join me on my next stay to be spoiled @ The Spa. Maria the Spa Manager will take care of all the details!
Being in the industry, I have been to many luxury boutique hotels around the world including brands such as Four Seasons, Banyan Tree, Rosewood, W, Hyatt, etc. To say the Hazelton embodies the epitome of luxury accommodations and personal services is an under statement. Celebrating an unforgettable weekend with my loved ones was made even more special by the personal services provided by Guest Services team lead by Mr. Harshmeet Singh (Supervisor of Guest Services). Thank you again to the entire team at The Hazelton Hotel in Yorkville - you have helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
My experience at the spa facility was beyond what I expected. I hope this review sparks others who may be skeptical to book expeditiously! The moment I walked in I was met with kindness. The current events in the world have left most services in an overwhelmed and agitated space. It was so refreshing to be greeted by a handsome fellow with a warm smile. The hotel itself was immaculate as well as breath taking. I appreciated all of the black marble and how sleek it looked. The gentleman greeted us and took us to the elevator to take us down to the spa. I was dropped off by my partner for a surprise birthday gift and ended up in the best hands as I was given a tour of the facilities. I spent some time in the pool which was lovely and was brought some chamomile tea to sit by the pool. Afterward I went to the shower to prepare for my service. The young woman who seemed to be maintenance was so helpful so much so that I could not leave without giving a tip. The products to shower and wash and condition my hair were luxurious and smelled amazing. The shower itself was modern and had a rainfall as well as two other spouts. In the change room all of the equipment were high end. There were dyson blow dryers flow water throughout the facility itself (even at the pool) combs shower caps and towels. My esthetician Delicia came to the back and gave me some time to get ready. I can’t say enough how much she made my experience like no other. Words honestly cannot explain. I got a full body scrub a scalp massage and conditioning, a facial and full body massage. She was gentle with just enough pressure to make my tired body feel alive again. My skin was glowing and I smelled amazing. The products used were luxurious and did their job well! The vibe and energy from Delicia was confident warm professional and loving. She is definitely good at what she does and very attentive to body language. She made me comfortable enough to open up and was more than capable of carrying a deep conversation. I’d also like to add how overwhelming it was that the wonderful women who greeted me and did the tour as well as helped my partner book the treatments were just as excited for me as I was to have something so special done for me. Hands down one of the highlights of my birthday. I wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t wait to return. I purchased the body scrub and body butter used by Delicia. I hope the individuals see this review and know how much of an effect you all had on me. Your work ethic and enthusiasm are genuine and much appreciated. Thank you all!…
It was a pleasure staying at The Hazelton in Toronto, the service was impeccable and accommodations were comfortable and luxurious. The location was excellent. Even though the hotel was under renovation, it didn’t diminish our comfort and enjoyment.
