Absolutely wonderful stay. Attention/service was exquisite, courteous and professional through out. Had SPA day which was just what the doctor ordered. Wife had best treatment (essence of the bees) she has encountered in numerous facilities Maria was wonderful. Her knowledge of reflexology was able to do for her sinuses what multiple visits to allergists and ENT specialists could not. A remarkably healing process. Felt rejuvenated to go out and visit the wonderful fashion boutiques in the immediate vicinity of The Hazelton. Location is ideal, away from the maddening crowd of Young Street. Personally I find The Hazelton more personable and comfortable than the 4 seasons. I would recommend the Hazelton and its amenities as an indulgent , yet elegant home away from home particularly if one has the fortune of staying in this establishment for more than a few days. I can think of no finer and more comfortable place to stay in what has become the #1 international travel destination this holiday season. Best hotel in a wonderful city.…
Location was simply perfect for our first visit to Toronto. The hotel design was spectacular in every way (but honestly for the price I was expecting nothing less). What sets this hotel far apart from its competitors, locally and globally, is the service. From pulling up to the valet and from every moment beyond we were simply blown away by the attention to detail. Our pillow preference, the way we like the temperature set, the COOKIES, the fact that we have 3 last names in our family and they addressed us all properly (no easy fete), help with everything and anything, welcoming our brand new granddaughter with as much excitement as we had and on and on and on! The ONE restaurant also truly exceeded our expectations. We are extensive travelers and former food industry employees (a lifetime ago but the passion is still there) and frankly tend to not favor hotel restaurants. Even at the highest end they are usually necessary amenities and nothing ultimately exciting. You must ignore the price point (which is very high) and dive in. The menu is thoughtful and current without being trendy and is executed to perfection. We had 5 meals there in our 4 days and honestly couldn't even rate which was best. Special thanks to Angela and Alejandra who made us feel more like family, (very honored and treasured family, mind you) than simply hotel guests. Regards to the entire team, day, night and everyone in between as well. We are forever grateful and look forward to coming back.…
Still at the property, so perhaps this is premature. This is an excellent hotel. It is one of the better hotels that we've stayed in for some time. Over the last 10 days I stayed in the Conrad in Singapore, the Conrad in Dubai, the MO in NY. I am not comparing this one or any of the aforementioned to the Aman, which is in a class all of its own. However, this Hazelton is such a nice property. The service is as to be expected, exceptional. If we didn't have to travel, I would stay more nights here. I'm thinking of a way to come back to Toronto so that I can spend 3-4 nights here. We had breakfast here. Save for a minor issue with an unwanted ingredient in my omelette, the food couldn't have been better. The ingredients and preparation all top notch plus the servings are quite substantial. Typically, it seems like you're trading one for the other however you get both here, quantity and quality. The gym is a proper gym, heavy weights, Peloton bike, etc. They have all of the nice touches- like Conrad... treats for you in the room, high quality sweets. The service is what makes the difference between 4 and 5 star hotels, when comparing the better 4-star hotels, and the service at the Hazelton is 5-star level. …
I was last week at the Spa at the Hazelton Hotel and it was divine. Laura and Maria were so welcoming and attentive, they make me feel like a VIP. Everything was amazing. The only thing is the lockers, they look outdated compared to the rest of the Spa. I will definitely coming back.
if you are opening another hotel, this is where your management and training staff should be sent to experience how to operate. From door people, to waitstaff to housekeeping to front desk, all top notch, friendly, courteous and they treat you how you want to be treated. And the facilities/location are great too. A/c that works, shower heads with good pressure, nice towels, comfy bed, blinds that blocked out the light. Nice extras and turn down service. Great location. Will be back.
Excellent luxury hotel. Service is great with exceptional people who know how to host their guest. The One restaurant has exclusive dining experience and is very popular and frequently visited by guest and also people who want an exclusive fine dining experience. The ocation was prime too with a lot of high end luxury brands around. Downtown heart of Toronto is not too far … 2 minutes walk from the subway station will take you to Union Station. A number of restaurants, clubs and pubs just walking distance away.
A one night getaway for my daughters 24th Birthday. This hotel went above and beyond for our stay. I would highly recommend and I will definitely return . Thank you for making our stay so special and lovely !
The Hazelton is elegant Hotel worthy of its stars. From the moment you enter this hotel, you experience a sense of calm and relaxation created by the exceptional staff and the beautiful decor. I was impressed by the members of the Concierge staff, Robert and Maira before we arrived. Robert assisted with our restaurant reservation at One Restaurant inside the Hazelton and Maira assisted with the Valet parking. Both assured me that we would be well taken care of and we were. It was my husband’s birthday so we decided to stay at the hotel as we were eating at the Hotel’s restaurant. When we entered our room there was a handwritten personal note, a bottle of wine and a beautiful birthday cake. This hotel makes its clients feel special simply by the fabulous service they provide. I would like to thank Christine on the front desk and Robert and Maira, part of the Concierge team for making our stay a special one. When we came back to our room after dinner, there were bottles of water and chocolates. We loved staying at this stylish hotel. Our room was modern and sophisticated with dark wood ascents that helped create a relaxing environment. The bathroom with its modern amenities was spacious and had a wonderful rain shower. Our room provided the perfect respite after a day of visiting museums, shopping, and sightseeing. Another reason to stay at The Hazelton is their fabulous restaurant called One Restaurant. This is one hotel that is a must to stay at if you are going to visit Toronto. You will not be disappointed.…
The Spa is just heaven! classy, beautiful hidden gem! enjoyed my unbelievable facial and 90 minute massages - Our RMT’s were excellent and knowledgeable. We had such a wonderful experience. Thank you
I had the pleasure of staying here a few weeks ago. I have stayed at many hotels in the Toronto area, but The Hazelton continues to be the premier hotel. Everything is fantastic - the rooms, the food, and the service. I received a nice upgrade and was treated wonderfully by the staff. Angela at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. I hope to be back soon!
