Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.

This place was awful.
I was laying on the bed talking with my friend on the phone when a bug crawled onto me, I immediately jumped up and look on the bed to take a closer look, and there was a bed bug. I immediately went to the front desk to report it to the manager & she told m

An older motel with outside door entry. It was clean but dated. The pool was not functional when we visited, maybe because of the season. Office staff is not full time service like most newer places but they were pleasant. Overall, not a bad experience.

We ordered two rooms. The front desk called us upfront to confirm the check-in time. The location is close to the street but pretty quite. The rooms looks old but the most importance is clean and no "special" smell. That's what I expected to live in a motel. There is enough free

I recently booked at the GMT based upon the high ratings online but they were not deserved. The bed was comfy but my room was clean but dated and dark and in need of the most basic upkeep. As examples, light fixtures were out of alignment, the toilet seat was chipped, and the ven

Is the motel close to university of Toronto Scarborough?
I believe this. When I was there long ago, the owner and employees lacked any kind of hospitality and weren't in the least bit concerned about customer happiness. They just wanted to try to add fees for ridiculous things like a clean towel and extra hot water for the crappy hot tub. Thank you Mialili123 for your review. It is VERY accurate!
Nothing about this cheap motel is classy or comforting.

Hey was just curious as to whether your facility accepts cash deposit as opposed to credit card, also what is the age requirement in order to check into a room.
Dear Guest, If you prefer to pay cash, it is $50 security deposit on the top of the room rent payment. In order to rent a room you have to be over 21 y.o. with your DL or some other ID. Best regards, Management of Grand Motel
