We only stay at Caesar's Windsor if we have comp'd rooms. The nightly rate is way too high especially if there is a show on in the coliseum when the price is 2-4 times higher. Our last trip was for one night and not only do they charge a resort fee that is a joke....16.95 for nothing...no room service, they don't clean your rooms during your stay and to top it off we arrived at 2:45pm only to be told if we checked in prior to 3pm we would be charged an extra early fee of $20. Absolutely ridiculous..Dawn the front desk agent was not budging and was grumpy and adamant we had to pay for those extra 15 minutes. Why an early fee at all, if the room is ready and empty why let it sit empty when you could have customers checked in and spending money at the resort. We then checked our bags rather giving the staff a tip for helping then paying an early fee and returning an hr later and finally checking in with Lisa who was absolutely adoring and kind and quick and efficient. Also having to check in in the Augusta Tower then having to walk all the way thru the casino to get to the Forum Tower is also annoying....There should be a separate check-in desk at the Forum tower especially since the majority of people park in the garage using the walkway to that end of the casino. So we park in the garage, walk outside across the street up the elevator to check-in then reverse your steps out to the garage to grab you luggage and then cross over the bridge to the Forum tower to get to your room. The whole check-in experience and convoluted setup needs to be revised.

This was just a little overnight getaway from home, so glad we decided to stay the night here. Check-in was a breeze, we even got escorted to our room to the Forum Tower with our luggage! I forgot the nice man's name, but I definitely remember his face, superior service! We really enjoyed out stay and will definitely be back real soon!

Total lack of services. No room service, no delivery from food venues inside the Casino, 17 dollar “resort fee”? 10 dollars/ day parking fee, I was provided housekeeping one day of the 5 days I stayed…anything additional I would have to pay for. This Casino and Hotel is going the wrong way in terms of guest services. Disappointing….so much potential.

Difficult to find hotel entrance. Poor signage throughout. Assumption is: you know where you're going as a first timer, which leads to a poor experience and will not return. Restaurant specializing in milkshakes ran out of milk at 7pm when they stay open till 10pm - really? On a day that was not busy at all? Shower handle moved while showering - got burned as a result.

They are getting a little too relaxed overall. Casino itself is the same, needs a little more TLC on clean up. The room we received was clean for the most part. Key cards worked well. The pool and hot tub area are stocked and checked for towels constantly. The hot tub was dirty. When the foam started collecting on the middle and had brown dirt on it, was time to get out. As well, the one morning we used the pool area, there were people sleeping on the loungers overnight that weren’t even guests of the hotel. Security came and they were removed, but where was security stopping them from doing this in the first place? No one checked the pool are when it closed at 10pm the night before? Overall we had a good time regardless and probably will return.

We had a wonderful mid-week stay at Caesars Windsor. It was easy going through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel (both ways) and getting to Caesars Windsor (only a few blocks away). The hotel entrance is a little difficult to find ... it's in the middle of the block and the sign is small ... but, after that ... super easy!!! The staff at ALL locations was just terrific and very helpful. The property was extremely clean. We had a large room in the Augustus Tower with a great view of Detroit and Downtown Windsor. We haven't visited Windsor in some time ... but, this just might be a regular stop on our "mid-week adventures!!!" I was pleasantly surprised!!!

Great stay. Clean and quiet room with comfortable bed. This is a great place to relax on a weekend and flush your extra cash down the toilet while gambling like a fiend. All the staff I encountered were friendly and even made me laugh. I will plan for another stay in the spring.

Quality of the stay is getting pretty low. The two water bottles in the room cost $2.50 each. While the rooms are decent enough, it’s when your out on the floor that the lack of services gets really apparent. Excessive wait times to get a drink. Not all bars are open and the ones that are have massive lines. There are few if any wait staff so there is no benefit to pushing the beverage button on your machine. There used to be several kiosks to get a beer or cooler, those are gone. No buffet anymore. The few cafes close around midnight as well. This place used to be one of the best places to go in the city, not so much anymore. Going forward I will attend whatever show I was there to see and get the hell out of Dodge asap

Overcharged and worst service overall. No room service for 4 nights I stayed there. I asked for room service/to make up the room two days in the row, no one showed up. For 200$ per night, you still have to pay for bottle water in your room for 2.30$ per bottle, felt like really cheap! Go and stay in other hotel with much better service. This hotel is big and flashy and with casino and all its attractions, but it's just about it.
