This place is a gem! It has character, furnished with authentic pieces throughout. Our room ( second floor ) was cozy and linens were lovely. The top floor room ( where family members were staying) is huge and has a great sitting area , which we all enjoyed as we were booked in for a reunion in Windsor. Breakfast was more than ample. Host, Renee is delightful and welcoming. We would definitely go back.

Our granddaughter arrived a month early, and we wanted to go down to help our daughter recover and with the baby.
We booked with Ye Olde Walkerville Bed and Breakfast at the last minute, Renee could not have been more gracious.
We arrived quite late because of the distance we had to travel after work, and found it easy to get in, with our room being left with lights on, in a most welcoming fashion.
When we came down the next morning, the breakfast was plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented. We were out the door in plenty of time to pick up a special treat for the new mom.
Our room was beautiful, romantic and exceptionally clean. The bed was remarkably comfortable and the temperature was perfect.
Our second night there was a thunderstorm and watching the lightning from the stain glass window was magical.
We will not hesitate to go back, this was our first time here, but will not be our last. We stayed in Samantha's Suite.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful, homey and yet romantic place to stay in Windsor

We booked one night on our way through Windsor, heading back to northern Ontario from a road trip to Chicago. We drove through horrible winter weather with ice, snow and hiway closures. We arrived 3 hours later than expected so it was quite late and my friend and I were exhausted and frazzled. The host, Renee, greeted us at the door and helped bring in our luggage amid a snow squall. We entered into this old house's beautiful, warm embrace, wonderfully accented by Renee's cheery welcome. Quickly settled into our cozy room. The beds were super comfy. Best sleep of our road trip. We woke to a lovely breakfast and some charming conversation with Renee who shared stories about the house's history. All in all, a great stay. I would stay again and I would recommend to a friend.

I have stayed there twice now. This time, because i had to leave very early in the morning, Renee packed a 'bag breakfast' for me and left it in the fridge. Couple hard boiled eggs, cheese, fruit, juice, (and a couple two-bite brownies). Very sweet of her. The room i stayed in both times is nice, large enough. Wifi available. If i need to return to Windsor or area again, I'll be sure to book a room there again.

We had the Samantha suite. Top floor. Big 60” tv with full channels. King size bed. Awesome wifi. The soaker jacuzzi tub was big and you could watch tv while you soaked. The breakfast was delicious and was a big spread of different things to try. Very unique experience in the food. We liked sitting outside on the wrap around deck and watching cars go by. Renee the hostess was so very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. She had a dish of homemade treats and candy sitting by the front door at all times for you to grab. Keurig coffee was also available outside the rooms in the common area at any time of the day. Parking was on the street but there is no issue, there was lots to be found. Safe neighbourhood. Central air in the room was nice plus we had an extra air conditioner in the window. No issues with the attic being hot, it was nice and cool. I would definitely come back.

Such a lovely, welcoming host and home. The breakfast was SO.good and SO big! Way more than we expected.or.could eat! It's not often you get 3 courses with breakfast! The bed in room 3 was saggy in the middle and could probably be replaced any time now. The room.and our ensure bathroom were both spotless. We would definitely stay again. If you have mobility issues, be aware that all the rooms are upstairs. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

This large older house is a classic B&B, with a lot of style and charm. Renee is a perfect host: warm, friendly and welcoming. My room was not large, but it was comfortable and had everything I needed. I recommend it highly and would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the fabulous Samantha Suite and what a great place it was. This HUGE room is the entire 3rd floor and we soaked all afternoon in the walk-up Jacuzzi with candles and champagne. We got lost in each other. Later in the evening we went to Little Italy (a walk of 10 minutes through that great Walkerville historic area) and eat at LaScala. Probably the best Italian food we've had in years. In the morning Wayne (the owner and operator - he does it alone) served up the best breakfast we've had in years. I mean, this is 5 star stuff!!!!! Suzy had the eggs benedict and I had the French Toast. Both were prepared and served in gourmet fashion and the elegance was spectacular. The place draws upper scale guests and we felt really comfortable during breakfast. Our get-away was from our 2 year old and while we missed the little guy, the night was a great get-away and it was all we could ask for - AND MORE!
If this review encourages you to visit, have faith in Wayne's opinion of restaurants and tour suggestions. He is right all the time and seems to have a great ability to know the best places. This host is on top of everything and the place is immaculate. 5 star place at 3 star prices. When in Windsor WE WILL ALWAYS stay at Ye Olde Walkerville B&B.

I thought I knew good B&B's but this far exceeded my expectations. Ye Olde Walkervbille B&B provided 5 star facilities at 3 star prices. The facility is spotless and the old Victorian charm has been completely restored. I have NEVER experienced such a fabulous breakfast. It is a full gourmet menu and Wayne makes it from scratch. OUTSTANDING experience.

This upscale Bed & Breakfast changed my mind what a great B&B is like. Completely renovated and restored to original elegance this facility also provides the best of modern amenities. Each room has all the amenities of a good hotel with private bathroom and jacuzzi tubs, full cable TV, phones and so much more. While all that is great, it is the full menu breakfast that really puts the finishing touches on a great night. We had the eggs benedict and this gourmet dish was the best we ave ever had. I needed more days to taste all the other great items. All gourmet. The website --- is the second best way to see this place and even better is the personal view. In Windsor me and my friends and family will always stay at the Olde Walkerville B&B.
