I cannot adequately express how impressed I was with the Stonecroft Inn. I had a bunch of swimmers qualify for the provincial high school swim meet. From my first contact with Frank, the manager of hotel operations, to check out, the entire process was seamless. Frank was more than accommodating. The number of rooms I required changed multiple times and he willingly accommodated each change. All of our rooms were kept together (even the bus driver was just across the hall) and the same could be said for the other teams from our school board who booked with the Stonecroft Inn (four teams in total). The hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are spacious and all contained a mini-fridge (important for hungry teenage athletes). The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast is simple but more than adequate for a quick bite to start the day. The location is so convenient too. There are numerous food establishments within walking distance of the hotel, including a pizza place right next door. I was a little nervous taking students to a hotel that was not a part of the known hotel-chains, but this hotel exceeded my every expectation. All of this and the price was incredibly reasonable and parking was included. I would absolutely choose the Stonecroft Inn again, as would all of the other coaches. Do not overlook this hotel. Can’t thank the hotel and staff enough. We needed 6 rooms on short notice for a family funeral. The staff was amazing and accommodating to our needs. The rooms where clean and comfortable. We had a suite to gather in as a family and a little section of the hotel to ourselves. Just a beautiful stay. And such a relief in this difficult time.

I had read the reviews -- so many reviews raving about Stonecroft Inn -- and wondered if they were all genuine. I decided to take a chance on staying at Stonecroft Inn for 4 nights and I was so glad I did! We had minimal interaction with people working at the inn, but the encounters we did have were all pleasant and helpful. Our room was large and updated. It included a very comfortable king-size bed, a small sofa and a coffee table; a desk with comfortable chair; a cabinet that consisted of 3 drawers and an enclosure for a small fridge; and a moveable ottoman. The tv was large enough to be viewed from the bed or from the sofa. There were plenty of lamps and outlets. The room-darkening curtains were very effective. The bath area was divided into a sink area with a large mirror and then a tub/shower and toilet. This area, too, was updated and included all that we needed including plenty of towels and a hair dryer. And even though our room fronted on a busy street, we never really heard traffic noise. Based on the large number of vehicles in the parking lot, it appeared that the inn, understandably, enjoyed a great deal of repeat business. Breakfast was included but we did not partake. Terrific Hotel. We stayed here for a golf event and we’re so happy with our rooms. This hotel is very well run and spotless to a tee. Great comfortable beds and the owners couldn’t have done more to make our stay more pleasant . Front reception was very helpful and we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great quiet spot to stay while visiting Windsor.

We had the opportunity to stay for one evening over a long weekend. We were promptly greeted in a clean and inviting reception area, took some basic information from us, and directed to our suite for the evening. The suite was immaculate and spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The suite was tranquil, with absolutely no disturbances we could hear.

This was my first time in Windsor. Stayed here based on reviews on Tripadvisor. Nice property, and clean. Nothing fancy, but has everything a business traveller needs. Free parking, but no elevators. Good size bathroom, and bed was comfortable. The only negative comment is while working at the desk, the AC unit was directly on me, which made for a very uncomfortable situation. The free breakfast is average at best.

Stayed here last night while in town for a couple of days and will absolutely come again. Clean, modern rooms with everything we needed. Quiet, even though there was a hockey team staying here, including literally across the hall. Did not hear any guests through the walls. Well located with lots of food and shopping very close by, including one of the best pizza places in the city across the street and a Walmart Supercentre just a few hundred yards up the street. The woman at the front desk was incredible! Friendly, well organized, and completely ready for us, and so pleasant and attentive. Free continental breakfast but we did not imbibe as it’s not our thing. Overall, as very frequent travellers, we’d recommend Stonecroft and will stay again.

I had traveled from out of town for a conference, and when I arrived, specifically asked the registration clerk to provide me a quiet room. I was welcomed into a spacious room, something that I’d expect to pay $100/night for. I used the shower and relaxed in my room after a long drive. I ended up being awoken by a crying baby, every hour on the hour that first night. When I attended the front desk at 2:37 am, I asked the clerk if another room was available as I could not rest in this room (walls are paper thin). The clerk had to be awoken from a sleep at the desk. I ended up having to go back to my room and engage in a poor rest. The second night, I had asked if any other rooms were taken and I was told all booked but the previous customer had checked out with the baby. I thought ‘ok, I can do this’ I went to bed at 10:30pm and was awoken by the most obnoxious yelling and screaming from below me in the ‘meeting room/gym’. The disturbance sounded as if someone was being mugged; constant pounding and what sounded like pool cues being struck against the ceiling. Again, front desk useless at mediating this situation. This disturbance went on for 2.5 hours, until finally the individuals stumbled up to their respective rooms. Stonecroft Inn in Windsor is over priced and does not provide a ‘comfortable’ environment as advertised. There is no breakfast or alternative pre-packaged nutrition to consume. I have repeat business to attend here in Windsor, and I’d rather stay at the Super8 then put up with another night of the terrible customer service here. Definitely not worth $125/night.…

We tried to do our best mitigating the situation with a periodic screaming baby and a hockey team staying with us the following night.
