Apologies this is not a “stay” review, but I have to say anyone who puts out a bucket of candy with a trick-or-treat sign is top notch in my book. And I can’t wait to stay in their home with such a spectacular location and view. Thank you
Spent a lovely labour day weekend at one of the cottages here. The cottages have a vintage feel and are exceptinally clean. They are fully equiped with everything you would need. If you would like to be provided with a BBQ just ask and it is delivered to your deck. The owners and staff are very accomodating and friendly. They even built a fire in the "community" fire pit for our family to make smores. The beach is a long white sand beach and the water was still warm. There is wifi in the office and space to hang out there. There is also satelite TV in each cottage. This is a unique and family run business with a great price point. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the place. Take a little step back and enjoy your time here. Perfect family, couples or friends vacation destination.…
When you arrive to Warren's Cottages it seems like a small almost dead end road, but then opens up to a beautiful array of wildlife and scenery! Seriously if you don't stay at least go to see the view and the beach! They have an awesome trail you wont find anywhere else on the island that goes from the road along the cliff with a massive ocean view, and to a historical school remnants, must be over 100 years old. Then you walk up the cliff over the hill and your path opens to a giant field and an even more beautiful view! There was even an old train caboose sitting up there. Not to mention it was Half the price of staying in a crammed hotel compared to staying in thunder bay, we had a full cottage. They have satellite tv, though ours did not work. But if you are staying there you don't need it, makes it more romantic ;) Sitting on the beach nobody else around with wine and the sunset.. wow doesnt get better I will come again thanks !! Lots to see enjoy your time :)…
We decided at the last minute to do something special for Canada's 150. Most places were booked but we did find this place and so glad we did . We basically had place to ourselves. Our cottage had a screened porch and an outer deck. Inside was dated but clean. Bedroom could use a blind as light shone in making it difficult to sleep. Shower is small but functional. Our cottage was virtually a two minute walk to a beautiful beach. We had brought our own chairs so we were good to go. Not sure about swimming as it appeared rocky but lovely for a walk. No wifi or internet but we did not care. Satellite TV was not working but this was not a problem either . St. Peter's a small village is ten minutes away as well as Greenwich National Park and the Confederation Trial. We drove to Souris for lunch and the fireworks. About 20 minutes away . It has stores for groceries as does Morell which is 10 minutes or so. Beautiful scenery. You are away from the crowds of Cavendish and Summerside but worth it. We would definitely go back to this area. Playground for children and a laundromat. …
my Best friend, her family and I had the amazing opportunity to get a vacancy at Warren's. The Cottage was home away from home! The privacy and hospitality is second to none! The beach, the area, the scenery!! Only thing that we noticed we didn't have was internet, but it was so awesome to disconnect....some places on the beach had service, but enjoy the sea air and the freedom..... you can download online later!!! Mary and the family that operate this beautiful hidden gem, is top class. You will need for nothing! Just ask! Can't wait to visit again! Thanks again
