Detailed Reviews
Super clean park. Well maintained and up to date. Large sites. Washrooms super clean. Reasonable rates. Lots for everyone to do with the basketball court, heated pool, 2 playgrounds for the kids, open fields to play in. Seasonal sites area is beautiful - well kept by all the seasonal residents. Very personable people managing the park. Close to all the nearby attractions including Brackley Beach and the Oyster Bed Speedway. Will definitely be booking here again next year.

Pine Hills was our favorite stay while on our 3 week road trip. We stayed for 2 weekends, and would have stayed longer if we could. The staff were all exceptional, the bathrooms and lots were all very clean and well kept. We stayed in their cabin. Our beds were comfy, and the cabins had lots of electrical outlets and even a mini fridge. The pool was also very nice and clean, and there were many play grounds and lawn areas for kids to play. We found the location was also ideal. Can't wait to stay here again next time we visit PEI.

Room Tip:Â Their camp store also isn't huge, so other than just bare necessities, plan to shop elsewhere.

Pine Hills RV Park is a large campground with 170 sites. The sites vary with 30/50 AMP service, full hookup 3 way or 2 way, free Wi-Fi with a very good signal, fire rings, picnic table at each site, a swimming pool, laundry room, and some primitive campsites. They don't have cable TV, but our antenna pulled in 4 channels. There is no on site trash pickup, you must take your garbage to the dumpster. The sites are quite wide with ample room to extend our awning and park a car. There is also a Camp store for some incendiaries, and a recreation room with a pool table (for a fee), some electronic games (fee based), and a large table as a good place to play cards. Some of the roads are paved, but most are dirt, and the sites are both dirt and grass, and they are mostly level . They are building a new basketball court, and it looks like it'll be finished soon. There is also a volleyball net, a playground area, and a couple of open play areas for kids sand dogs to play in. There are quite a few permanent campers who have been here a long time judging by the decking and other items at their sites. The park is considered a family park and it shows. The owner and their family are exceptionally friendly, polite, and helpful. They strive hard to keep the place looking well maintained and it shows. Pine Hills is conveniently located to many activities like sport fishing, golf, and attractions such as the airport. The airport is about 7 kilometers away, but doesn't create any noise. The place is very quiet and we highly recommend staying here. In spite of all the sites it is a very quiet place. I hope you find this helpful in making your camping selection.

BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE , NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!
Let me say one good thing before the bad...well maintained campground.
Bob and his non skilled no personality daughter Brooke  are the most unprofessional, inappropriate, disrespectful, money hungry people to have an interaction with.
Owning Pine Hills RV Park without any amenities , very busy highway day and night ,horrible bathrooms.
washer/ dryer from 1920 and charging you electricity whatever he feels like as well as mandatory vinterazation of HIS hook ups to your camper, charge of $ 100 you never receive until is actually cold. In November payment CASH ONLY!!!!!
I have never experienced as an owner of anything to act like a complete disrespectful individual to a women.
You cross the line, when you come as a Man and yell at a women because I DARE questioned the utility bill. Since we were not even in the camper ( parked) for 3 weeks but charged the same amount as the month before. Everyone is aware and questions the bill but are to afraid to say something.
I DID and got KICKED OUT!
Bob told us ""I WANT YOU GONE!!! ""
His daughter is a spoiled brat with no people skills and makes up her own policy, sends packages back. She refuse to call or txt to let you know and tell you to pick up yourself from post office. Her favorite
word to everything is NO!
NO HOSPITALITY OR PEOPLE SKILLS ..NONE FOR THE BOTH OF THEM!!!
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where you are appreciated and treated like you are welcome. Bob's sites are $ 750 a month, no discounts of any kind,
not even for our military or any members and you will always pay close to $ 900 as he charges extra for everything.

Response from Pine Hills RV Park, Owner at Pine Hills RV Park
Responded Jul 18, 2023
Hi there, you reviewed the wrong campground. This property is owed by Myles and Paula Younker. There isn't and has never been a Bob or Brook that have worked for us. Sorry you had a bad experience, it just wasnt with us!

Pine Hills RV Park is centrally located on the island. It's about 25 minutes from Charlottetown and it's easy to get to both the east and west coasts of the island as well as Cavendish. The grounds are very well kept and the staff is very friendly. The closest large grocery store is about 20 minutes away, but the camp store has everyday items such as water, milk, bread, etc. for prices very similar to those at a convenience store. They have music on the weekends and lots of activities for kids and families including a hayride every evening.

This was a really nice campground. Not far from Charlottetown. It has a nice pool, free hot showers. And strong free wifi. They had live music on Saturday night and two playgrounds. A large field for the kids to play in. In would highly recommend it. Unfortunately in lost all my photos from my phone. However if you look at their web site you can see some

Visited here for the first time with my family (repeat visit for my parents who own a large RV). We had an excellent visit. The lots are spacious and the facilities are excellent. Large playground for the kids with plenty of running space. Ball Hockey/Basketball court and a Swimming pool. Common toilets and showers are clean and spacious (showers include private changing area as well). Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Highly recommended. We will return!

+1
Great campground. Only drawback to some may be no 50 amp service or at least none for our group if 18 bug rigs for us that’s not a serious drawback. Our site was in grass fairly level no obstructions to backing in. We were able to get satellite and their WiFi was good. Lots of families/children. Large swimming pool, camp store. There are a lot of permanent or seasonal campers but they fit in nicely and are well kept. Easy drive into Charolettetown.

We loved this campground. Great location near Brackley Beach, Cavendish Beach and Charlottetown. Very clean property, bathrooms, showers, pool and laundry. Kids loved the pool. Many different things to keep the kids busy, ie: playgrounds, pool, tractor ride. Well maintained property you can tell these owners and employees care. This place is friendly and just overall felt safe for kids. We will be back.

We have traveled for a month in our motorhome and this was the nicest campground we stayed in. The laundry room and shower rooms were so clean. A very nice family atmosphere. We would highly recommend this campground.
