This was our first visit to the Sydney Inn and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. The spacious rooms seem even more so because of the high ceilings (10-12 feet?). We’ve tried several Charlottetown hotels recently and this one is SO much nicer than the Great George. We prefer a more modern aesthetic so would probably still opt for the Holman but this would definitely be our second choice. The bathrooms are gorgeous (ours was also huge with a large walk in shower - room 213). The front desk was very friendly. We stayed during COVID so the breakfast room was closed but it was also very reasonably priced. Walking distance to the Claddagh Room for dinner and the Trailside for a concert.

I recently had to find last minute accommodation in Charlottetown due to a family emergency. Traveling to Canada during the current pandemic was tricky enough, with the added requirement that I self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival on the Island. The same day my booking was confirmed I received a phone call from the manager offering information and requesting details to ensure my arrival and stay would be as smooth as possible - which is more than the provincial and federal health departments did! Head honcho and all-around marvel Gordon made my stay unbelievably wonderful - from upgrading me to a small apartment in order to ease the difficulties of quarantine to the thoughtful condolence card and chocolates I found awaiting me upon my return from my Dad's funeral - I could not have asked for better care and concern from even my own family. The hotel itself is really lovely, the staff were all very kind and helpful and it is perfectly located as well. We will be returning to P.E.I once travel is once again possible and will unquestionably be booking our stay at the Sydney Boutique Inn.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Sydney Boutique Inn last night during a short trip to PEI. This hotel is “top shelf” all the way. The room was spotless, furnishings were top quality, fridge and coffee maker provided, with an incredibly comfortable King bed. Because of Covid restrictions breakfast was not provided, but staff gave us a suggestion to a local cafe nearby that was spot on. Thanks to Gordon and the staff. You should be proud of what you have here...without a doubt one of the highest quality hotels we have stayed in for awhile.

Just as good as advertised. We requested smaller, thinner pillows and we arrived back that afternoon to see an employee taking pillows from his car that had been recently purchased because of our (and presumably) others' requests. This is the type of service that guarantees a future stay, which we'll be doing. Thanks very much! In addition, our request for biking info was handled very professionally. Finally, in the Covid era, for our first trip away from home in 6 months, we felt very comfortable with the room and common areas.

My mother and I spent two days in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. It was well appointed and we would definitely stay there again if we were in Charlottetown. The kitchen had all the things needed for coffee and tea and appliances for making breakfast. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the living area was lovely.
