Detailed Reviews
The room was clean, but didn't present well. Could only find one outlet for charging electronics. The wifi would connect sporadically, but not enough to be useful. When I took my issue to the front desk they had the Maintenance person come to my room, but since he had full bars on his phone, my concern was ignored. I require a strong wifi connection as my travel is for work.
Next morning's shower was invigorating as it wouldn't be considered warm by any stretch of the imagination.
So, for $200.00 per night, taxes & fees included, this hotel, in my opinion, is severely overpriced.

Our stay was satisfactory. We had a queen suite (with kitchenette) and were located on the 2nd floor above the lobby area. Our room was very clean and quiet (2 night stay).
We had ebikes and although I had sent a message several days prior to our stay asking if they had a secure storage area - no reply was sent. They do NOT have any place to store bikes and it was suggested that we keep them in our room. This involved winding through several narrow hallways to a very small elevator and then again winding through more hallways to get to our room. (Worth the peace of mind as we were told it would not be wise to leave them on our vehicle overnight).
The included breakfast was satisfactory with choices of cereals, breads, muffins and pastries in a comfortable room on the basement floor.
Overall we were pleasantly surprised with our stay - our needs were met and cleanliness and quiet were good. Our room had very good AC built in which was definitely a necessity. The hallways were very hot but our room was a perfect temperature.
Our queen sized bed was very comfortable.
Although the unit was very dated- it was satisfactory to our needs.

Room Tip: Our second floor suite was in the main building. I would suggest requesting this building.

First thing. This says that it’s an inn and conference centre but yet has no bar or restaurant! What inn and conference centre wouldn’t have those? This place also charges a damage deposit to your credit card and then returns in once your room is inspected. That should tell you the type of clientele that they have. Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle. Overall the room wasn’t too bad. But during my month long motorcycle trip, this was my last hotel stay and I had no issues with my credit card until after this stay. It got compromised a little while later. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

This property was the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s a construction zone, yellow tape and dumpsters everywhere on one side of the road, and on the convention side one side of the hallway was closed off with orange drop sheets clearly under construction. We were first placed on the convention centre side; walked into our room which had an awful smell. I went back to the main lobby, and the accommodated a room switch to a brighter less smelly room, although there was a window air conditioner which seemed to be battling with the heated vent system. Our door looked like it had been kicked in before, handle was loose, door was loose/didn’t appear to close properly, walls were dented, walls were dirty, there was a half empty bag of chips in the room we later found and a towel under the bed we found in the morning which clearly shows it wasn’t cleaned properly and just felt absolutely disgusting as soon as we entered anyway. I contacted Expedia about the possibility of a refund and they said the room was non-refundable - which of course because it was the same day so why would they give a refund. The room was not a non refundable room when I booked so I only assume it’s bc it was the day of the booking. The pool had a literal brown ring around the whole thing, it was dark and dreary. When we were checking out, a family had the same room we initially had and I overheard them say one of them was sick all night - it’s no wonder.

We were camping at the national park for a few days and on the last day of our trip there was torrential downpour and thunderstorm warnings so we decided to pack up and get a hotel in Charlottetown for our final night in PEI. Turns out it would have been better to sleep outside in the pouring rain in our tent than stay at the Charlottetown Inn and Conference Centre.
First off, as soon as you pull up the building looks dilapidated and it’s not much better once you go in. We grabbed our bags and checked in and were told our room was in a building across the street. So, we had to pack everything back in our car in the rain and go across the street. Lots of sketchy people hanging around the building.
As soon as you enter the building it smells like mold and cigarettes with stains everywhere. The room was even worse. There was a window ac unit cranked when we walked in so the room was freezing. The unit didn’t fit in the window fully so the curtains were shoved into the crevices around it to stop rain and bugs from coming into the room.
There were so many stains, mold, ripped wallpaper and handprints all over the walls of our room. I felt dirty just standing in there. I also found a weird blue stain on one of the towels in our bathroom.
I decided to use the gym which is in the main building, so that meant I had to cross the street in the rain to use it. The gym looks like it was nice at one point and just hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. It’s also in the same area as the pool which also looked like no amount of chlorine could clean. The change room/bathroom was nasty. The toilet stalls had weird peep holes so you could look into the stall next to you.
Apparently there is an underground tunnel that connects the buildings but when I asked a staff member if I could use it he said no, no, no.
We decided we really didn’t want to hang around so we went out to dinner and then a pub to kill some time. When we got back to our room shortly after midnight, we found bloodstains on our sheets that were hidden by the pillows. We luckily had 2 beds in our room so I just slept in the other one since it was so late at night.
The next morning we got up early and packed our car. We saw a lady smoking out of a crack pipe in the parking lot which was a fitting conclusion to our stay. I mentioned the blood on our sheets as we checked out and the front staff was helpful and offered a 20% discount on our room. You can tell they are trying to do the best they can and probably have to deal with many similar complaints. However, we also had to talk to the the head of housekeeping and instead of apologizing or being embarrassed about the situation, she gave us attitude and said she had to go check even though I showed pictures of the blood stains.
The only good thing is the location is within walking distance to downtown which is great since you won’t want to spend much time at the hotel.
The hotel is apparently renovating so hopefully they can turn things around and maintain the property better moving forward.

We booked a king suite for our anniversary getaway. When we arrived the front desk personnel barely spoke to us at all and upon arriving in our room found it was a standard double room. When we went to the desk to find out what had gone on, the second person we saw there said “oh there’s been renovations so there is no room line that” which I would have liked to have known before having booked with this establishment. After expressing our deep disappointment the response was “well, what do you want me to do about it?” We had to basically fight for a reduction in price which was not that much overall.
The hotel looks awful from the outside with peeling paint everywhere. Then to find out we were in the building across the sometimes busy street was another blow. Fortunately the weather was good but we had to cross for front desk, pool, gym and breakfast.
The air conditioning in our room did not work - we had it on high fan and lowest temp but aside from making a lot of noise it did nothing.
The second morning of our stay there wasn’t ANY hot water at all. I am not a happy camper with an ice cold shower ….. unless I AM actually camping which might have been a better idea this time.
The free breakfast is in a clean room but there is barely anything but toast and bagels.
The sheets were clean. The location was good because we could walk everywhere downtown without the vehicle.

Terrible experience.
How can a hotel-conference centre have no maintenance staff available to deal with problems?
Missing a few of life’s luxuries.
When I checked in at 7:30 pm the room temperature was 29 degrees. The gentleman at the front desk informed me that my only option was to open the one window in the room. Taking his suggestion I opened the window. After 4 hours we are now at 27 degrees Celsius. Yippee. I asked for a fan. No go. He claimed to be the only employee on duty in the entire hotel this evening and couldn’t leave the front desk. Oh ya.
Most of the wall plugs don’t work, the Kleenex box is empty and there are less than a dozen squares left on my TP roll. The TP roll even had the little fold on it to indicate someone had attended to it and gave it their assurance of quality. I guess I will hold until morning then splurge on the abundance of paper products.

The hotel is horrible, the pictures on the page are misleading. There are areas of the hotel that cannot be accessed and the guest has to walk among loose woods, nylon walls covering some sectors and dirt. Everything is very old and abandoned. They do not replenish the bathroom toiletries when finished. Tea bags found on a tray in the room seem used. The carpets are dirty and peeled off. All dreadful, I don't recommend it at all

This property is awful! It is under renovations and just a mess. When we booked our room, we were not informed of the construction going on. The other guests we spoke with said the same thing. This place is old, smells, and is just not worth the price per night they are charging. This is a $50/night hotel on its best day. My hope is that it is being reno'ed inside as well as out, as the rooms are disgusting. When we checked in, our first room had large stains on the floor, the desk chair had a large tear in it, the room's AC was a window unit that was connected to an outlet with an extension cord running from the window, across the bathroom counter, to the only outlet in the bathroom. Basically, AC on the cheap. Our second room was barely slightly better. The beds are old and in dire need of replacement. The AC in this room was loud, with the unit hanging out the living area window. It, too, was installed on the cheap, with gaps on both sides which allowed flies to access our room from the outside. When we drove up to the property, we thought it was an abandoned building. The pictures they feature on their website are very misleading, which is why I'm sharing mine. Stay at your own risk. There is not one good thing I can say about this hotel. Usually, I can say something good about the staff, but they, too, care about as much about this place as the people who own/manage it - and that isn't a lot.

Stay Away and Run don't Walk!!!
I wanted to turn around as soon as we pulled in but there was nothing else available as it was Old home week.
First of all the smell as soon as you open the door which didn't close without a hard push and in which the house keeper didn't close after she left,so it was open for most of the day.
As for house keeping they made the bed and added new towels, left the garbage bucket full.
The power went out every morning as I dried my hair.
The a/c didn't work very well and nonein the hallway.
I actually wore my sandals in the shower as I was afraid standing in the tub, disgusting bathrooms and then there's the kitchenette, the stove is all full of rust and not fit to cook in.
The breakfast was bagels and waffles and coffee pots were empty and you had to wait for them to refill,so that was my last trip to the breakfast.
We stayed Thursday to Sunday and hadn't seen anyone working on the so called renovations they explain.
The only positive was close to everything in beautiful Charlottetown.

No we do not provide a shuttle to or from the airport. The airport does have many cab companies that have been certified by the airport and provide excellent service.
No Restaurant, but an extended hot breakfast that is free with a room night.
I'm afraid I've always had double king beds in the rooms which I have had allocated. No kitchen.
