We stayed here a couple nights and found it was very well located. It would be fantastic in the summer, but winter it is just convenient.

It was clean and appointed okay.....nothing special as far as the room goes. There is lots of quite warm water but it's not hot so I just turned it to full hot for a shower.

The one issue was that the heat really couldn't keep up with the cold from the huge window unless you closed the drapes completely. Not a big problem as what is there to see in the winter?

Reasonably priced considering it's location but I suspect prices change dramatically with warmer weather.

I was so pleased with the service we received. Stefan checked us in and was SO warm and gave us the true island welcome. He went above and beyond in his service. He checked us in and gave us an upgraded room, which was well needed because it was Jack Frost weekend and there were many Kids in the area. This allowed us to have our own private corner with a gorgeous view and distance ourselves away from too many children. The rooms were gorgeous and very clean. I would highly recommend staying here, wonderful service and great location and atmosphere. The restaurant was also amazing, many local favorites!

Stayed for a week in July. Checking out tomorrow. No complaints. Got an awesome price on a king room with city view. Liked the sitting area and window seat. Bed was comfy. As daily housekeeping wasn't available due to covid we would just ask housekeeping for more towels and toiletries when we saw them in the hall. We requested a room clean mid way through our stay. Front desk called once for a wellness check. Grabbed complimentary bottled water daily on our way out. All staff we encountered were friendly. Walking distance to many restaurants and live outdoor music.

We chose the Delta in Charlottetown P.E.I. as it was close to the water and a great location to walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel was older than I thought and the rooms are starting to show their age. For this reason the price was too high per night and with the cost of the rooms, parking should be included. The pool and fitness room was GREAT, staff were very nice and were very helpful! A disappointing factor was the outdoor patio, regular on-site restaurant in that it was closed so although breakfast was available, lunch and dinner at the grille was not. The reviews for the grille restaurant were good. The coffee and fridge snacks were a great idea but perhaps should be part of the kitchen/bar area as front desk were busy and sometimes not able to assist regular guests. Invest in a change dispenser for the laundry room and vending machines as guests were then forced to try obtain change from the front desk which didn't always have change.

Dear MacKenzieLane: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback through Tripadvisor. I was pleased to learn you found the hotel to conveniently located for both your restaurant and shopping experiences. We offer room packages that include parking for any future bookings you may have. I was delighted you found our staff helpful and the Fitness facility great. Brakish our outdoor seasonal restaurant has now closed for the season, I am sorry you did not get to experience it. I appreciate the feedback you have provided on our Grab and Go offerings and your suggestion for a coin machine for our Guest laundry facility. I want to thank you for taking the time to provide your candid feedback as it is important to us. We regularly review our guest comments and provide the feedback to our team. It allows us to celebrate successes and or improve our service offerings to our guests. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Margaret Somers

Our stay at the delta Charlottetown was one of the worst hotel stays during covid yet. I regularly take my children for a night out with his friends at hotels and the service , and options for food and amenities were less than spectacular .
It started with myself ordering a hotel family package . When I booked online directly through the hotel I requested one of the highest floors. When I checked in and requested again , I was given a middle floor and told that they had already selected the room and it should be good for us. Not what we wanted .
I also chose a water view room which we paid more for. We got a road view room with water to the far left . Upset again.
The pool had a kiddie pool which my son would have preferred as he can’t swim well and the larger pool was very deep off the steps for him. The kiddie pool didn’t even have water in it . The hot tub was the size of a bathtub .
The evening was even worse when we had someone partying across the hall from us until 3 AM . We couldn’t get any sleep and I didn’t want to go down to the front desk in my pajamas.
The next morning we went down for breakfast because our package included a $50 voucher for breakfast , only to find that the restaurant is closed . Other hotels have their restaurant open during covid . We chose from their menu which was two hot options . Neither of which my son would eat . The grab and go didn’t have anything he liked either .
When I went to check out, I was told my total and it was a charge higher than I expected because they did not apply my $50 credit that was included in my package. I had to explain yet again that I had the family package and they fixed this up for me .
I absolutely would not recommend going to this hotel with the service we received and the lack of amenities .

Dear patches 7320: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay with us. Needless to say, we did not meet all your expectations. I apologize for your disappointment. Please be assured that we have followed up appropriately with our Front Desk team regarding the room allocation and the credit process for your package inclusions. The kiddie pool is currently out of order due to COVID-19 restrictions, however with the Moving Forward Plan-step 3 of the Government of PEI plan we will be reopening the kiddie pool July 18th. I am sorry you had noise on your floor caused by the guests on your floor. Our restaurant is anticipated to open in July to offer hot breakfast items. We hope to welcome you back another time to our hotel. Indeed please contact me personally on that occasion so that I may ensure you a pleasurable stay.

Although we were originally booked in for three days, we had to add a few more due to isolation, Covid, needs.
We could not have asked for better and understanding service from a hotel of this size. Room service, meals came regularly (same cheery girl) and left food outside the door. Houskeeping also, while not able to enter the room left changes of towels and linen.
We were left to our own devices by our tour company and while our UK. tour company changed our flights it was reception here who really stepped up the mark for us.
Grateful thanks to Maureen and Usha who organised the means for us to actually get back to Halifax for the return flight and also the great assistance in printing boarding passes and seat reservations. We would have been stuck without these two helpful ladies - thank you
The hotel, oh yes, clean, nothing too much trouble, well situated for eating out local walks, including Victoria Park
Alas, unlikely to be in the area again, but no hesitation in recommending

Love staying at the Delta. This hotel is close to everything. Really enjoyed sitting down by the water behind the hotel listening to live music and people watching. Room was spacious and had a great view of the water and boats. Rooms are being cleaned by housekeeping but we opted out - but no trouble exchanging towels and getting more bottles of water etc in the morning. We received breakfast vouchers with our stay for Water's Edge restaurant in lobby. Food was great. Our server Clodagh was so sweet. She was attentive and answered all our questions about the city and things we should check out during our stay. Mohamad at the front desk was also very helpful when booking our stay. Love the Delta and will definitely be back.

Great room, very modern and good condition, two Queen size beds with were super comfy. Great central location, with underground car park (bit pricey but it's a city). We stayed a Saturday night, and it was quite noisy, but Sunday was Ok. Housekeeping is what lets the hotel down, our room was not serviced until 4pm on the first night and the 2nd night came back at 5.15 still not made up. Spoke to supervisor who said were short staffed, about 6pm we saw a one of the over worked housekeeping staff who at least made up the beds and emptied the bins. Eventually about 7pm the supervisor sent someone!

Location is right at the waterfront and next to the pier where restaurants & pubs are in abundance. There is a nice park to stroll along right in the vicinity as well as opposite the front of the hotel is Merchantmans Restaurant. A local dining pleasure (reservations are truly needed).
Back to the Delta - recognition of a tiered member of Marriott Bonvoy and provided vouchers for breakfast.
Room was generous in size, nicely appointed but not over the top and had a water view. A disinfecting wipe down of major touch points did not leave the wipes with visible dirt as did some properties we stayed in.
Breakfast - complementary and plentiful. One thing to note however is that COVID has had an effect on staffing. Like many places we visited in Eastern Canada, staffing was an issue whereas there are simply not enough to handle the demand and the impact of visitor travel.

Good - Waters Edge restaurant staff were great, the doormen were great.
Bad - Front staff were not very competent. Only coded one room card, Didn't inform us how parking worked, Would only supply one bath towel per person, which is difficult for women with long hair. Less than a quarter roll of TP when we arrived... visitors should not have to ask for these things....
