Stayed here for 4 nights recently. The hotel filled all my needs and was clean , neat and tidy . There was a small complimentary buffet style light breakfast offered and the front desk person was very accommodating. The room was cleaned each day with beds made and bathroom refreshed with clean towels etc. I will stay here again when I next visit Charlottetown.
First of all I will say that the staff is ok, but the hotel definitely sucks. The whole time a person is there you get the overwhelming feeling that management has no clue how to make a person feel at home and comfortable. First our door would not open too our room we were switched to another room. Once we got to our room it was just ok, nothing special. Breakfast the next morning consisted of only carbohydrates, bread, cereal, etc. The breakfast room was dark and depressing and it seemed as if it was also used as a storage facility as the was a bunch of lamps and stuff over in a dark corner. That night upon returning my room was not cleaned! The staff quickly brought me clean towels and took the garbage out as I made the beds. The next day I went to breakfast and again i started my day in a dark out of date depressing room eating grain in different forms that left me feeling hungry 90mins later. I noticed that 90 percent of the people that stayed there came into the breakfast room looked around and with great disappointment, hung their heads and left. If management renovated the breakfast room with new tables, new lighting, had some soft music playing, and added one of those pancake printers and some protein like eggs and sausage, it would make a HUGE difference. Seriously if you own this hotel and your reading this hire someone to design an inviting lobby and breakfast area and your Customer satisfaction will go way up.…
Had a great stay at this Inn. Felt immediately at home. The room was surprisingly large. The two queen beds were comfortable and I was surprised to see enough room for a table and 2 chairs + another chair at a desk. The room was clean. I stayed there last year and had similar results. I had stayed at larger more expensive hotels in the past and found this Inn to be much better (but don't raise your prices lol). The owner/ manager was pleasant and I felt at ease upon registration. He was more than accommodating but kept checking on how things were whenever he saw me. I would give a 5 star rating but I never give anything a 5 star rating. See you the next time we stay in Charlottetown :) - Louise Boulter
The price was definitely lower then other hotels that are close by but you definitely pay for what you get. The employee at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The location is close to the airport which is definitely great. The place itself however has much to be desired however, the door that opens to the corridor to the room does not lock so anyone can get in there at anytime. Though the rooms were relatively clean there were hairs in the bed and the towels which was disgusting. The place needs some upgrading for sure.
beds were lovely and comfortable. did not even make up our room on the second day there!! - What is one paying for? breaskfast not much variety. As well, do not be fooled regarding it having a pool - the pool was not working and the sign said it would not be available until the end of the season! What good is that? who wants to swim at any time other than the summer on PEI?
Rented 2 rooms , our room had an old tube TV, the other room had a flat screen oh well lol , Beds were awesome, shower had no pressure and trickled out lol. Lady at front desk was awesome and helped up planning our night on the town and even called a cab for us. It was raining and she told us to park our motorcycles under the roof overhang to keep keep em dry lol, Over all a great stay.Would have gave a 5 if we had a flat screen and shower pressure
Nice place with friendly staff. The swimming pool was great too. The location is very convenient, very close to restaurants and shopping malls. Due to heavy rain we had to spend an additional night and the staff did an excellent job accommodating our family.
Heat not working properly(cold room during night especially had to sleep with my jeans on) (OTHERS complained as well about heat). Room not cleaned (Sunday) or towels /soaps refreshed No shower curtain until 2nd. day Manager gave a little better rate when booked but when told about problems stated "YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME" and refused to do anything and DID NOT apologize until I told him that "HE DID NOT EVEN SAY THAT HE WAS SORRY" before he did. "He did not care if me or anyone else did not come back". I WILL BE SURE TO TELL ALL MY FAMILY THAT LIVES ON THE ISLAND AS WELL AS FRIENDS,ETC. Very upset from Nova Scotia
Very good room clean very comforable bed .All in all very nice place to stay. We will stay there again. The staff were very nice and acomadateing, very friendly they could not do too much more to make us feel at home , Great place to stay
Room was small but clean. Good price for just staying one night. Very noisy when anyone used the bathroom..... It's an old hotel but not far from the center of Charlottetown. Front desk staff was friendly.....
