This is a different property - spread over several old homes over most of the block just a short walk out of downtown Charlottetown. I imagine every room/building is different. We booked an apartment. Check in was easy once we found the actual lobby in the main building. The front desk folks meet you at your building, show you how to use the door lock codes, carry your luggage, and show you about the room This is great however, note that at any given time, there may not be anyone at the front desk as they are doing the same for others. The room was lovely with a nice kitchen, living area, deck, and separate bedroom. The bed is very low to the floor and its a little cramped on the sides, you can't actually open the door all the way as it hits the corner of the frame, but it was comfortable. The sofa too is close to the floor and wasn't the most comfortable for an evening of movies after a long day out but it worked. The kitchen is well appointed and we were able to cook each day. The grounds are beautiful and there is ample parking. The staff is lovely and special shout out to our housekeeper, Kathy, who was like a friend from day one and insisted on taking a great photo of us. We miss her smiling face. I would absolutely return here in a minute and in fact we extended our stay for an additional 3 days.

We spent two nights at this interesting property—a collection of historic homes—located just a short walk from downtown Charlottetown. Check in was easy and the staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast each morning served in a beautifully restored dining room with seven or eight different options. While not the best food we had in Charlottetown, it proved very good. We stayed in two different rooms in the Fairholm Mansion: the queen suite w fireplace, on the second floor, which features a cool brick archway and a four poster bed, and the King Suite w jetted tub, which is located in the attic of this striking old mansion. While the two person jetted tub and king bed were great, and the exposed beams in the ceiling uber cool, we preferred the first room. The furniture in the attic room kind of floats awkwardly because it has to sit away from the wall, with all this negative space behind. Creates a bit of an obstacle course when, for example, one wants to adjust the blinds. Still, feels quite secluded way up there, atop three flights of stairs. Parking easy.

Such a beautiful inn - everything about it was first class. From from the location, to the room, the food, and the friendly people that work there - everything was wonderful! If we are ever so lucky to get back to PEI, we will stay here again and will recommend it to all!

We recently stayed for 3 nights here, in the Carriage House. Our room was lovely and spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. The murphy bed was the best our grandson had on our trip. The family are really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble - and we got some really good dining recommendations. The gardens are amazing, with a lovely patio area to sit out in with a drink and a book. Breakfast had lots of choices and they were able to deal with a gluten fee diet too - a real bonus when you're celiac! The properties are in a good location, quiet but less than 10 minutes walk from everything downtown. We'd highly recommend this to anyone going to Charlottetown, or PEI.

This is a 4 building Bed and Breakfast in the center part of Charlottetown, close to many restaurants and bars. The rooms were comfy, and some were quite luxurious. The staff was exceptional, and we had breakfast outdoors on the porch, which was very pleasant and relaxing.

Absolutely enjoyed this Inn thoroughly. We initially had booked only the first night of our 3 might trip to PEI, as we weren't sure what our plans would be. We first stayed in a King with balcony that was lovely and so comfy. We ended up booking again for our third night, in a regular King room (weather was not good so didn't need the balcony) and again was so comfy. The atmospher is amazing, service great, breakfast absolutely delicious. And the close proximity to downtown was perfect. Can't see enough good about it and can't wait to come again.

My son and I spent the weekend at the Fairholm with his hockey team and it was the best experience we have ever had in a hotel. We were placed in the Fairholm and Hillhurst buildings and it was perfect. The kids and parents had space to hang out and relax without worry of bothering other guests. Our room (the Irene Rogers Suite) was huge, luxurious, and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast that was served in the Hillhurst building was delicious with plenty of options. It was an amazing and relaxing weekend for our team and wouldn't hesitate to book it again for our team.

We stayed in the Fairholm building (the oldest one) in the 3rd floor (attic) suite. It’s so amazing!!! The property is stunning. Every detail is attended to. The staff are incredible - Jake helped us check in and get familiar with our room and the property. In all our travels we have never had someone who was so pleasant, kind, and fun! Breakfast the next day was really really good. This place is an absolute gem in downtown Charlottetown. We will be back!
