The houses are in a large, nicely landscaped garden. The hosts were friendly and helpful and fed us extravagant breakfasts in the charmingly-decorated dining room. The common room was comfortable and filled with movies (mainly for kids), books and games to play. Our room was clean and well-equipped.
This place is not perfect, but it comes pretty close. The location is sort of out in the country, but it is probably only about 12 minutes from downtown. Our room was in the "barn", so separated from the house. But there was lots of room. The internet was quite inconsistent. The breakfast was incredible, as the owner is a professional chef.
Really friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely comfortable room with 2nd bed on a Mezzanine level in the roof. There is a comfy downstairs lounge as well The attractive buildings are in a large 2 acre meadow. From the property you are not really aware that you are conveniently close to the main roads out of town- good roadside signage for the driveway means i out of town and a retail mall with restaurants & a cinema is close by Hosts gave excellent advice on where to go around PEI. Our stay coincided with Hurricane Dorian & we were well looked after with torches, water all supplied well in advance without being asked. Jeff does the cooking for breakfast which means before 8.30 is the preferred time. Breakfast was amazing every day. Well cooked, tasty & interesting. A lovely dining room full of ornaments made the whole experience a delight. With the power out the morning after the hurricane hot breakfast was still very good as the outdoor bbq was used Strongly recommended…
The breakfast meals were excellent!! We looked forward to them every morning! The owners were extremely friendly and gave us suggestions as to where to go and what to see each day. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I really liked the decor and pictures in the rooms. Would love to stay here again.
I stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. It's a short drive from downtown Charlottetown and the grounds are beautiful. We stayed on the main floor of the barn and found it extremely clean and well cared for. Breakfast every morning was incredible. I'm allergic to dairy and eggs among other things which can make breakfast a challenging meal but they went out of their way to ensure that I had a delicious breakfast every morning. Even going so far as to make me dairy and egg free pancakes with coconut whipped cream! I truly can't recommend them enough. Cathy gave us great advice on what to do and see while we were there and following her recommendations meant we got to see beautiful spots we wouldn't have thought of on our own.
Pros: - The room was clean and inviting - The breakfast was the best I have had in B&B - Cathy and Jeff were wonderful and very accommodating - The bed was very comfortable - The dinning room is really charming Cons: - None
Stayed here for 5 nights. A rural setting just on the outskirts of Charlottetown. Cathy and Jeff are fantastic hosts and amazing breakfast cooks. I guess the only issue I personally had was the single bed I was sleeping in wasn’t very good so my nights were a bit rough. Other than that it was terrific.
A lovely, quiet B&B on the outskirts of the city, so you need a car. Surrounded by garden and grassland. Very comfortable, and lovely, varied breakfasts (though choice limited). Hosts are very welcoming.
Our rooms were very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It is difficult to find in the dark. I would recommend arriving earlier than we did so you don't have to look for it in the dark. Breakfast was delicious.
This place was one of the best B&B in our trip through New Brunswick and PEI. Our room was great, with a small kitchen counter and refrigerator for our wine and cheese. The owners are great and warm. Their breakfast is served in their house and trust me when you are done eating your are full and it is excellent. I put in a photo of another building which is blue and can be rented out also. Did not go inside, but looks great to be in. It is beside the building where our room was.
