Unusual , in that you had to place a $100 deposit. The cleanliness was not 100%, we found items under the den table (as we tried to find an outlet). Old a/c window unit. No overhead fan to assist in ventilation.

The White Horse Motel is a standard motel in Charlottetown. Good for the budget and centrally located.

We were in the room furthest from the road so it was quiet and the Wi-Fi worked well. A/C worked and there was also a fan in the room.

Our bathroom door wouldn't close and we found the lack of outlets frustrating but overall met out needs.

This place was terrible wish I took more pictures. If you want a cheap half renovated dorm room you came to the right place. The bathroom had one towel hook that was half out the wall and the toilet paper just was on the edge because they didn't have anywhere for it. You can tell where they mudded over where it once was on the wall. The wall had holes where the towel bar had been. The worst thing was the smell. The room smelled terrible. And if you tried to turn on the fan/air conditioner it stunk of garbage (which makes sense because the window is facing the dumpsters). The bed was soft and lumpy and the pillows where five dollar fluff

The only pro was it was clean. But it was so terrible we said screw it and went to another motel. Wasn't not worth the money. Also when we checked out a day early they didn't even care why we were leaving all she said is no refund. Which ok I am fine that is your policy but wouldn't you care why we didn't want to stay and if there is anything you could do.?

An absolute dump!!! Mold in bathroom, dirty stained tub, bathroom sink clogged, mold on broken blinds, dirty and beds were hard as a rock. Do not recommend. I’d give zero stars if I could. We tried to get out of the booking before we arrived but they wouldn’t let us and was charging our credit card anyways.

Awful customer service, I booked a room for my parents who drove all the way from Toronto for 2 days and got there at 5 in the morning and realized the Motel doesn't have a record of their reservation. The Chinese receptionist didn't speak English properly and could understand me either over the phone, although she was pretty good when I called few days before that and gave her the credit card number to reserve the room! This place has the awful management and Im surprised how they have stayed in business. My parents finally got a room in a very nice hotel in downtown Charlottetown that night thank god.

Booked this online in a panic without due diligence. I was sorry to do this. The rooms were furnished with what seemed to be yard sale rejects. No ice machine, no extra toilet paper, no glasses, no closet, ancient TV but it worked. One ancient chair. The bathroom taps were amusing--try to shut them off and win a prize! Upon arrival they wanted to charge us $5.00 extra for AC, which was a floor model with a huge hose running outside and exceedingly noisy. Although the place could have some 50's retro charm if paint was updated, wiring concealed in the walls, and baseboards fixed. A Tattoo parlor seems to be a fitting part of the motel complex. Locks on the door were interior bathroom variety and we could see daylight on the non-hinged side. As a bonus my wife got up in the morning with what appeared to be two spider bites, one on each leg! Sheets are dried outside on a line and the spider probably came in that way or through the crack in the door. The front desk was not staffed and we had to hunt someone up. However it was clean enough and the staff pleasant enough although there was a language issue (minor). There was a fridge and microwave though. It served our purpose (sort of) but never have we received so little for $89.00 plus tax. Rates could be halved (or less) and be adequate for what you get. In summary: Period dump furnished in early trailer.

Was looking for a place quick for winter residence and this place was found. The rooms are pittyful with leaks in all the bathroom fixtures and even a leak in the roof on a night with heavy rain. Had Internet when I we first moved in and within a week it was broken and the manager said they had no intention of fixing it. Several other people that had originally decided to stay for the winter moved out becasue of issues and where denied the return of their damage deposit. Oh and three times in one week where they ran out of oil and there was no hot water or heat. Beware if you consider staying at this motel that its the worst experience ever in motel living.
