We stayed in August 2022 and were so incredibly disappointed with this motel. It was dirty (wood floors had stains from previous guests, hair and public hair in shower, something disgusting was dripping down the bathroom walls, etc). Worst of all was the horrible smell of rot and years and years of smoking. It was unbearable so we cut our losses and left. The owners need to put some money and effort into renovating and properly cleaning this property or just tear it down and start new. Do not stay here of you're looking for a comfortable, safe or clean place.

I would give this place zero stars if I could as we could not even stay here. While on route to PEI hours away from our destination, we get a call from the motel cancelling our room. The kids and us were left with no place to stay. Since it was last minute we couldn’t find anywhere else to stay and they refused to help us. Very disappointing.

We had to book a couple nights in PEI on short notice based on a last minute event. This motel was dog friendly and the only place that had availability for two consecutive nights. The property was for sale a few years ago when my s/o stayed here for work, and it has recently been sold. Renovations are in progress and there was debris in the yard (shelving unit, random cutlery, mattresses) . Rooms are being painted and fixed up. The answering machine still has a greeting from the previous owner stating they are only doing long term rentals due to COVID. There are a number of people living there full time. Very quiet spot. Fox from across the street comes to visit. There is no management or staff on site overnight but they will give you a number to call. Our group consisted of four of us and four dogs, so we were given a cabin and a double queen room. Both were very clean. Both bathrooms had broken toilet seats, so I do recommend asking for a room with a toilet seat that isn't broken. AC is available in some rooms, but not the cottages. The AC worked great in the hotel room Wifi doesn't work in the cottages but they do advise you of this both at check in and in writing. I had some work to do online so I simply sat outside the main building to complete the work. There is hotel bar soap in the bathroom but be sure to bring shampoo and other toiletries. Fridge and stove were very clean. I recommend bringing cutlery as there was one fork. There's a sponge and dish soap there. Bring a tea towel if you want to dry the dishes. I left them in the rack as i found them. Nice grounds. Old school playground from the 70s made me wish i had littles to play there :).

If you can book somewhere else I would, i have been living here for the last 2 yrs and the place is run down and gross, people on drugs roaming the property at all hours of the night this just started recently after Erin and Ricky no longer manage it, the new management seem like he doesn't care and will let anyone rent. They charge whatever they feel like and have no idea how to run a tourism business. No management is never there and the cops are there all the time. I would take your money and rent elsewhere.

Inexpensive yet clean and convenient. Great for kids and dogs. Good old playground equipment and spacious grounds. Fairly central; a short jaunt to most other destinations on PEI. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location if you're using Summerside as a base to visit Prince Edward Island. Located outside of Summerside, just off main east/west and north/south major roads. Not fancy at all, but very comfortable. Asked for help and suggestions from two different employees and got very good advice.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the decor dates back to the 50's, with teal coloured tub and sink. Mattresses could use an upgrade. We had a unit with a small, full kitchen which was helpful because we stayed for a week. The step into the unit was too high for me but within minutes, there was a small ramp to assist me. Great customer service. New owners need to do some renovations and upgrades but our stay was pleasant.
