My husband travel extensively and typically stay at hotels as we've had bad experiences with Motels. We were in Summerside PEI and decided to give this Quant motel a try. We certainly were not disappointed. From the time we checked in Myles ensured we had everything for a comfortable stay . The rooms were very clean and comfortable The linens were crisp and comfortable and the towels soft. We have paid more for a room no where near the standard Myles has. Best value top notch!!!
On my recent trip to PEI I stayed three nights at this wonderful little motel. Myles the owner was wonderful to deal with and was very knowledgeable of the island. My room was comfortable, clean and even had one soft mattress and one firm mattress in which I could try. The property is large and even has a trail that will get you down to the water and a small beach. I watched boats pulling up mussels on one day. I would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Myles.
Great place to stay for a PEI visit. Miles is a wonderful host. Rooms have been remodeled and exceed the quality of a chain. Nice grounds, beautiful sculptures in the garden, and even a with a path to the water. PEI is small enough to base your adventures from here.
This is a great place to stay. Super location with clean modernized rooms. Loved the idea of 2 queen beds with mattresses of different firmness. The motel is in a park like setting with lots of shade trees and sitting areas scattered through them. Lovely walk through a wooded trail (about 1 kilometer each way) down to the beach. The owner was most informative about sights in the area, directions and restaurant recommendations. Price could not be beat. Next time we are in PEI we are staying here.
We stayed here based on previous reviews. We were two couples staying a weekend as part of a PEI vacation. We were pleasantly surprised with everything from our welcome to the cleanliness and comfort of our room. At check in we were given a map of the area with highlights. A highlight for us was a nice walk to the beach. The trail is well kept and beautiful. We will certainly visit again.
We have booked the back side of the hotel ! Only ground floor and a bench us just right outside the room ! Room has 2 queen beds, one is soft and another one is firm, we like them both ! There is a K cup machine and a mini fridge ! Checked in was smooth , Clarke junior was helpful with introduction of the town ! Due to pandemic, there is no daily cleaning provided, but you can leave your soiled towels outside the bench , then they will replenish it ! We have stayed for two night ,but coffee supply is only for 1st day ! We bumped into Clarke senior , he was friendly and recommended us a few restaurants around the town ! In general our friends and I were enjoying the stay and highly recommended to others !
Quiet, relaxing grounds, gardens, trees, picnic tables, cedar gazebo. fully renovated and feature telephones, air conditioning, queen bed, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, free wireless internet, 32-42 inch HDTV with extended cable and high definition channels. Very clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. Bed extra comfy.
This motel is standard issue, and very very clean. The linens, towels and beds are comfy, and the grounds are lovely. I visited during an unusual heat wave and the excellent AC was a lifesaver. The best part is the friendly, accommodating staff. I can't say enough about Myles, the manager (owner?). From making the reservation to managing an early departure, the service was five stars. You cannot go wrong staying here! And the price is right.
These people know the hospitality industry inside out and are a tremendous credit to the community. They go above and beyond, for example, we were called enroute and informed the proprietor had secured a restaurant promotion certificate for us. It was a huge bonus and we appreciated the effort and time taken. As for the motel itself...wonderful in every way. The rooms are comfortably furnished and updated, scrupulously clean and well maintained. The grounds are an impressive plus, the mature trees create a park like setting and plenty of seating is available including a gazebo, perfect for a small group. The beach trail is a must...an easy and scenic walk through field and forest right down to a secluded stretch of coastline. We loved it and will look forward to returning. Both thumbs way up!!…
Everthing positive !! So clean, wonderful Family owned Motel, terrific location. " The Place" to stay in Summerside. Very reasonable rates. If your lucky ( very popular) book a room with a private deck. Sit back, have a glass of wine & reflect on your days enjoyment on Prince Edward Island !!!!!! P S ....going back in September........
