I'm actually concerned if 4 star such as this is subpar facility, would 2 or 3 star hotel be worse? Our sheets were stained, pillow were worn out, all sheets & covers were wrinkled. Buffet was even worse, not much selection to start with. The potatoes, egg & bacon were cold. Bread & Fruits mix selection seem to be old. We were thoroughly disappointed with "4 star" facility
Thank you! Why are you asking for min. 200 characters? C'mon man! The hotel is a very good quality price option! (for real!). I stayed here for many times. Guys, I recommend this hotel. Period! Hilton at the Days Inn price!
Everything was as advertised. My room was clean, my bed comfortable, the bathroom facilities were great. Breakfast was more than adequate and the coffee was good. The public areas were clean and inviting. The little pool was clean and pleasant. The staff I interacted with were friendly and professional.
Cons: 1) water stream was extremely low. It was too low to flush the toilet, so it looks like clogged. Also the shower was not great, form the same reason. Since then I have decided to use the public common washroom. 2) I did NOT feel welcome! The formal check-out time is noon time. a) at around 9 AM(!), one of the maids knocked on my door "just to check"! I took the opportunity to inform her about the clogged toilet. She did not seem to care to much; she said that she will report it, but heard nothing back. b) at around 10 AM(!) the same made knocked on my door again "just to check"! c) when I finally left the room around 11 AM, the same made made sure that I'm really leaving. 3) There is a TV channel guide in the room, but I could not find correlation between what it tells and what the TV displayed. 4) The business center with the computers, was unavailable. The bottom line: Being HHonor Rewards member, I don't feel that my experience has met the expected standards. --- As per the response from the hotel and Hilton to my feedback: The suggested compensation is unsatisfactory, as the number of points is about half of a night stay, meaning that I'll definitely have to pay a significant amount of money, to be able to enjoy it. This 'too modest' compensation offer is just added to my overall poor impression from my visit to the Lava Hampton Inn. I'm surprised that Hilton is OK with that low compensation, when I had two major issues: 1) Bathroom water pressure (toilet + tab) 2) an annoying maid, which was impatient about my checkout. looks like Hilton backs the hotel up about not compensating the way the hotel should have done, instead of caring about their customers.…
Broken bathroom sink and dusty vent. Bed sheet was smelly too. Breakfast area was nice and food was ok. Free parking and less crowded area than Montreal downtown. It was not that far from Montreal downtown.
As a Hilton Lifetime Diamond Member I have been coming here on business for quite some time. When I first came to this Hampton Inn The front Desk people were AWESOME. My room was cleaned daily to perfection. Seems this Hampton Inn has gone down in overall quality. The front desk staff still rocks though.. So why the drop in overall quality? let me guess......Covid did it? This review is written to address (2) primary things. 1) VERY poor housekeeping - asked twice to have my room clean.....got nothing. I should get a credit on my room. Replace the housekeeper/s!! Just say "Your Fired" Our guest deserve better!! 2) Very poor TV signal strength. Almost all English speaking channels. If you don't speak French and the only English channels are fuzzy I guess your out of luck. If you want news you better like the Communist News Network (CNN). Thats all your gonna get. This will be my last stay at this Hampton Inn. There are WAY too many other hotels that want/need my business with GREAT housekeepers and lots of quality American perfect signal channels. Enough said! C Ya. …
I stayed for two weeks at the Hampton Inn, Cypress, CA,. . I was with my teenage grandson. We left on the weekends and returned during the week to a different room each time. The very best part of our stay was the excellent, attentive staff, from the front desk to their cleaning crew. Everyone made an effort to do their job well, and to be attentive to our needs. If a problem arose (which were very few) they solved it as fast as possible. All the front desk staff did their jobs well. But I need to mention a few who went above and beyond being helpful, they really were terrific...Adam, Jason, and Italia could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. If felt safe at the hotel, and the location was pretty central to everything we needed in the area. We did not have many negatives. The breakfast, was okay, but boring. The hotel as a whole could use a little upgrade, The rooms were comfortable, large and totally workable and clean. But they could use a upgrade, as the whole hotel could. It is not shabby though. We were able to request a microwave, and the rooms all have refrigerators. If I were to complain about anything, it would be that the rooms could have more drawer space, for people staying for longer than a couple of days. The rooms were cleaned well. I would not hesitate to return to the Hampton Inn, Cypress, CA.…
Hotel staff A++ Lobby and breakfast area A++ Rooms A Location C Just a few blocks around the hotel seem a bit run down and there is a big construction project next door. If you drive 2-3 blocks, it's suddenly much nicer. The friendliness of the hotel staff definitely made up for it though.
Beds were flimsy and lumpy and made sleepless nights and tired days during our brief stay in Montreal. Also floors were filthy and made socks black. Front desk clerk said it was sold out so couldn’t change rooms then found one. Checked it out and same flimsy, old king bed. Stayed in original room. Had to ask for a discount, was not offered by staff. stayed at holiday inn exp in 3 diff CA locations within the same week and each one was clean and comfortable. Nice touches like fruit infused water, friendly staff. Hampton Inn was hotel of choice but no more. There are better options.
This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. I brought my wife and daughter here for the night because we were on a road trip . When we arrived the staff was very unprofessional and the room smelled like drugs in there. My daughter did not feel safe and the floors where very dirty plus we found several bugs in the washroom. There was a step that my wife tripped on because it was not visible , and in the morning when we went for breakfast the guy at the front desk was yelling to tell another guy who was a guest something across the front desk to the breakfast area. The breakfast was disgusting. When my daughter , wife and I went back to the room the housekeeping lady was already there. Overall this hotel was more like a motel. I do not recommend this hotel and it needs a renovation to come to its expectations as a hilton hotel.…
