This hotel has a great location. Easyaccess to the City of Montreal. Parking is free. Hotel has a nice pool and gym. Rooms are big but bit old fashioned. Sound proofing of the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear everything from the hallway and from other rooms. There was a band playing music on Saturday evening and we...

We went with a hockey team of 9 year-olds! There were lots of great things about this hotel starting with them giving us our own floor! That's great for everyone! We get to run around and make noise - no one suffers! The prices also were great - $130 a night all in! And they gave us a free hospitality...

Visited Montreal back in August and it was not too bad staying at Standman. It's a basic hotel nothing fancy. It is clean, beds were ok not as comfortable as I'd like but doable. The only think that really annoyed me was that there was a charge for every little thing such as $10 a night for a microwave that...

Average hotel, nothing special. Rooms were comfortable. Definitely caters to tours as there were 6 buses there that night. Had breakfast there but don't remember what we had. Located in downtown Montreal.

The location of the hotel is quite quiet. The room is spacious and clean with an updated bathroom. We have a pleasant stay. The bedding and linen is comfortable. As we were travelling with a tour bus group, arriving late evening and departed very early in the morning, we did not have the chance to do much around to enjoy the...

Stayed two nights for a work conference. The room was clean but a little on the shabby side, dented desk lamp, broken drawer, the AC was hit and miss as was the WIFI, no facecloths, the ice bucket is just a plastic container with no cover so it quickly turns into a water bucket. The towels were a very nice...

The Sandman in Montreal is a great hotel to stay in at Montreal. The staff is very friendly and they have a restaurant attached which is convenient. The only reason that I give them a rating of very good instead of excellent is that I have stayed in the Sandman hotels in western Canada and they are all top notch....
