Close to St. Catherines Street; close to Metro station; safe area to walk everywhere including the Bell Centre, Concordia University and McGill University. Tony is a wonderful host, chef and willing to provide extensive tourist information. B&Bs are great for meeting other visitors, sharing stories and experiences; and the best way to see the city from the eyes of those...

Location location what else can I say. No need for a car. Breakfast Tony spoils you, you truly see the chef come out of him. The place is clean which is the most important part of a stay for me. I would and will go back. 5 star for me.

I had a great experience staying at Repos & Manna B & B. Tony took the time to explain everything (directions, parking situation, suggestions about restaurants and shopping, etc); the room was nice and clean; and the breakfast was great. Even though I didn't spend too much time in (was there for a conference), it was nice to share a...

Tony is a wonderful host, he provided a cosy environment with comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and a full introduction to the city of Montreal. The best thing was the breakfast, where you sat around the table with other guests from all over the world. We had lots of interesting conversations.

This was my first experience with a B&B, but I understand it is not meant to be a hotel. Mostly positive experience, but two negatives marred the visit - that I was meant to have the same towel for five days, and that the owner got into a loud argument with another visitor. if not for those issues, it would...

We appreciate all reviews from our guests as these help other travelers in choosing their next travel experience. We do however set the record straight all the time when we have guests state something untrue and exaggerated, and this is quite rare. We believe we are the only B & B in Montreal to provide a time-saving guest/tourist orientation where...

Tony was a great host and provided a clean environment to all guests. Delicious breakfasts with strong coffee helps you start your day on the right path. Made extra time on the last morning (i.e. was almost late to my first meeting) just to have some of the famous French toast.

Almost by accident that we found this place and it turned out to be wonderful. Right next to the subway (transportation, not sandwich shop). But it was quite close, walking distance to the sights of Old Montreal, and that is a couple of old folks talking.

Chef Tony, the owner, is a good guy, and we loved our stay (our third visit this 2016 summer to Montréal). It was good value and a close walk to the Lachine Canal area and St. Catherine's street. Bon voyage!

Good location but way overpriced for the type of accommodation. Ww booked an executive double and it's a smal bedroom in a townhouse with shared washroom with three rooms. No daily cleaning service or replacement towels provided. Bases n reviews we expected more.

First of all, as a benefit to other travelers who take the time to read reviews, please equally take the time on your next travel review wherever that may be to at least “correct your spelling” as this would give you more credibility for sure. Our response: We truly appreciate all comments and reviews, regardless of being positive or not,...

Staying in Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)
Once the core of industrialised Montreal, the factories and historic buildings of Le Sud-Ouest have been renovated into homes, museums, and small businesses. The rejuvenated landscape has put its Saint-Henri district in vogue, with cutting-edge galleries and an ever-expanding network of restaurants. Foodies can especially delight in the mom-and-pop shops in Little Burgundy, or at the Atwater Market, where outdoor stalls sell fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat, street vendors have menus of hot fish and wine, and the indoor market offers chocolate, breads, and coffee beans. Dominated by the gentle waters of the Lachine Canal, Le Sud-Ouest is still very much an outdoor town, with a number of pedestrian-only bridges traversing the waters, bike paths along the canal with views of the Leisure Boats, and massive green spaces like Angrignon Park to stop for a picnic, or to play a sport.
