Excellent hotel. Rooms are clean and have no weird smells. Staff are very nice. Excellent location - easy walking distance to downtown Old Montreal, shopping, and Mount Royal. Just across the street from snacks and groceries, and close to all the famous restaurants. Large gym, and the pool and hot tub on the 11th floor have a great view! This was my second stay and if I come back, I’ll stay here again.
Rooms were spacious (double queen). Staff were polite and courteous. Great central location. We walked to McGill U (5 minutes), Old Montreal (20 minutes), and Schwartz deli was only 15 minute walk away. Secure access to elevators and hotel via room card. Relatively safe neighborhood. Swimming pool and jacuzzi open!
Nice hotel in downtown. Clean, updated rooms. We stayed on the 8th floor. Beware**** $36/night to park + tax. The restaurant was overpriced for what they offered. Overall, the staff were friendly and the rooms were more than adequate. On check in there was no shampoo in the room, but they rectified that when we called down.
As of Jan 20, 2023, this hotel doesn't offer complimentary continental breakfast for Gold members. They only offer a $10 daily food credit as if they were a US hotel, or 750 points per stay. I had a chat with a Hilton Honors staff on the app, who said that the continental breakfast can only be provided as per the availability. I can confirm that this hotel isn't located in the US, and breakfast is available at their Circos Restaurant. So, both Hilton and the hotel don't seem to care.
We always stay in the Hilton Garden Inn when we visit Montreal. We appreciate its proximity to the McGill campus and downtown. Pool and hot tub are a nice feature, especially on a cold winter night, with a nice view of Mont Royal. Staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Took my family with two teens for a weekend in Montreal. Prices for this hotel were much less expensive than other Hiltons and it was a great location, so it was a good choice. Conveniently located close to everything we wanted to do, restaurants, Old Montreal, downtown, etc... The hotel lobby and our room were extremely clean. Our room was in great condition and nicely appointed with, fridge and large enough tv. Queen beds were super comfortable. Sheets were soft. Bathroom looked almost new with an electric mirror. Shower had good hot water and pressure. Towels were good maybe a 3.5 out of 5 on my softness scale. Front desk people were extremely friendly and helpful. There is in-and-out parking available, which was great, however it was a bit pricey at almost $40 ca per day including taxes. Also the parking area is very tight under the hotel. I wasn't able to just pull into a spot, it was more like a 6 point turn. Also, it maybe a bit troublesome for those who are claustrophobic. You may also have to go from one elevator to another to reach your room depending on room location. There is a nice pool and workout room, although we didn't get a chance to enjoy them. One surprising benefit to this hotel, especially if you are unfamiliar with the city is that you can see the hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn sign from pretty much everywhere so it is very easy to find.…
Nice lobby, but they should extend renovations and style to rooms, which are very dated. The decor is wildly distracting in the rooms, with mismatched colours etc. The glass doors in the shower are great, and rooms very clean. They should get rid of carpets.
It's a nice hotel, a little bit old but very good. Rooms are fair, but service is good. Very well located, it's downtown, a lot of places walking distance. A few things to improve: the price doesn't include breakfast. It's weird since it's a business hotel, also, the parking is expensive per day. Take this in consideration if you are renting a car.
This is my fourth visit to this hotel. Once again it made my visit to Montreal easier and more enjoyable. No question that the hotel is aging however. My main concern, as I was visiting in the low light month of November, is that the lighting in the rooms is just too dim. I could not read or work (non-screen) at the desk. I suggest those who work in the room bring their own desk lamp! I could not find a working ice machine after checking five floors. But the breakfast was excellent and fairly priced, the staff was great as usual, and you can't beat the 11th floor view. Be sure to stay away from the vibrations of the pounding dumbells from the fitness center. I will return again.
Very excellent service and all amenities was available .they value guest . Thank you so much . If im going to Montreal again i will book again in hilton hotel. The best hotel in Montreal. They exceed on my expectation.
