Look at the nice swimming pool depicted on the web site of the hotel: it looks nice but it hides a fundamental problem: chlorine ! The water is so impregnated with chlorine that a single 10 minute swimming experience ended in rash on my skin with the typical chlorine smell on my entire skin that lasted 3 days and despite 3 showers to remove it.

We stayed at Le Westin Montreal at Christmas. The hotel was beautifully decorated and perfectly located. Going out the front of the hotel you have access to downtown, go out the back of the hotel you have access to Old Montreal. The hotel is right across from the convention center where you have indoor access to the underground and subway which was very handy in the cold weather. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a mini fridge and were able to request a tea kettle. From the sitting room, you could hear some noise from the hall but the bedroom was quiet. Our rate included breakfast at the hotel restaurant where the breakfast buffet was very enjoyable with lots of options. The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

A very comfortable and secure hotel. The hotel has a great pool/gym, casual bar area, and I really love the location. Using the north facing doors you are just a couple blocks to Notre Dame and Old Town. Room was clean, fast wifi. Bath was a little older, that would be the only thing they might improve, Have stayed here numerous times and for sure will do so again.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, do yourself a favor if you drive and self park at Le Palais de Congres. It will cost half as much and be a lot easier. When things are busy, the valet parking is very poorly run. We waited 35 minutes one afternoon, in the middle of the street, just to get in. My friend actually got out and directed cars into spots at one point because there was no valet there to do so. When I left at the end of our stay they let someone block the exit and my car, and then I found my car parked so close to the wall I could barely get into it. There was more but suffice it to say, park across the street and save money, time and frustration!

Le Westin is located in the old town of Montreal, across from the convention centre. Very close to downtown and Chinatown also. Underground access (6 am - 9 pm) to the metro system. Very convenient for winter time. Good food options at the restaurant and good gym settings. High speed WiFi was also available. All amenities you need for business travel. Highly recommend it.

Arrived very late after almost a full day of travelling, nice greeting by reception, large room, as always comfortable beds. The hotel is huge and it’s easy to get lost in it. Travelled with colleagues and we all found it hard to open the curtains and light the rooms properly! The rooms were nice though didn’t wow me like other Westin’s. The hotel is in a great location and the staff are welcoming. It was a good stay for a weeks conference held near by.

We flew into Montreal and took the 747 bus to the hotel. Easy walk to the Westin from the bus stop. We are Platinum Bonvoy and were treated extremely well during our anniversary stay. They do not have an executive lounge but we did get free breakfast buffet. Do not be put off by the word "buffet". It was a very nice selection of sweet and savory options. Service was always attentive in the restaurant. We also got a voucher for tapas/drinks during our stay and we have to say the poutine and calamari were excellent. Also highly suggest trying the Montreal IPA. We were very nicely upgraded to a 2 queen w/ sitting are room with a view of the river and old quebec. The hotel is in need of some freshening up ( peeling wallpaper) but otherwise is a nice place to stay. It is also right across from the convention center and you can even connect to the metro through the underground passageways if needed ( but much easier to access via streets otherwise). Very easy 2-3 block to Notre Dame and old Montreal. Would be aware of your surroundings while walking around the Chinatown area but the city is otherwise very safe. The pool was fun but a little cold for my toddler. They also have 2 smaller pools ( one like a sauna and the other like a cold dip) and you could easily do a hydrotherapy type visit here. They also have a dry sauna. We had a very nice stay here and would definitely stay again in the future.

Nice location close to Sports venues, the Financial district and the Old Port. If you were driving the entrance would be welcome, easy to self park or valet. Check in desk was fast, cheerful and well versed on the amenities of the hotel. I was upgraded to a suite, and was wonderful. This hotel does not have a private Club lounge. Normally that alone would put me off. But wait.....the room service was amazing. Large portions, fantastic food and good service. So dinner in my room, was really quite good. For breakfast I was able to have the buffet because of my status with Bonvoy included. And WOW, what an amazing breakfast buffet it was. Truly a surprise, and it eliminated the missing lounge for me. Great stay !!

Nice hotel , great location near le vieux port, we took the valet parking service 45$ but it was worth it. Check in and check out at front desk was very quick and friendly. The room Was clean but the mattress was very very uncomfortable old spring mattress with curved in on each side . If not for that i would give a 5 out of 5. We were in room 831.
