My daughter and I wanted to visit Montreal and Quebec and chose this hotel for it’s proximity to Old Montreal and other places we wanted to see. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel… we had such a great time. The hotel is clean and new and the staff is wonderful. They helped us with everything from restaurants and tours and suggestions for things to do. I love that there is a restaurant and bar in the hotel - coming in after a long, chilly day and being able to stop in for an evening snack and drink was perfect. There is also a supermarket right across the street so that was handy, too. We will definitely be back to this hotel come springtime. Love it !
My family and I were extremely impressed about the AC Hotel by Marriott (Downtown Montreal). It's cleanliness, the room was perfect, pool and rooftop were amazing BUT the most important part for me was the amazing customer service I received from the front desk associate and cleaning staff. Reception/Front Desk; his name was Daniel, he was amazing extremely helpful, sharing places and things to do while our trip in Montreal. He went beyond even walking out with us to show us the directions. Customer Service from Daniel I give it a 20 out of 10. Unfortunately I don't recall the names of both the cleaning lady's but they were both amazing, extremely friendly and great conversations (Jamaican & Cuban). Spanish staff even helped me with Nespresso machine and went out of her way to get me tea. I also appreciated that the hotel was Pet friendly and my puppy Miles was welcomed and treated nice! I have already told my family and friends about AC Hotel by Marriott and we will definitely be back one day! Thank you to Daniel & AC Hotel for an excellent experience in Montreal 💙🤍…
We stayed here in September 2022 and had a lovely time. The hotel is clean and feels very lush. The kids loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. The room was spacious and the bathroom was big too. Not much choice in the way of food there but there are so many great restaurants close by.
I had to do a lady minute booking for Montréal and had a good price for the hotel. Being new and looking for a nice pool and jacuzzi(winter time) in addition to be near my business meetings place, I decided to go for the AC. Nice decision. Design, clean, great room, all what you need( coffee machine, great large bed, super pool n jacuzzi on last floor with a nice view on the city centre. Sauna: could be refurnished ( wood getting old). Food is summer but tasty. Breakfast buffet nice but surely could be updated on certain products ( offer new products instead of having same) but that subjective :). Slippers missing in the room ;).. waiters and CV team b are very nice and at your service. Was proposed a nice restaurant based on my taste. Conclusion? On my side the ROI a positive.…
I've been to this hotel twice in December for business. I must admit I was quite impressed. Firstly, the rooms are VERY spacious and clean. The views of the city are magnificent. The beds are SUPER comfortable. I slept so well both times. They leave bottled water in the mini fridge which is a nice touch. There are also bathrobes in the room if you want to use the pool, hot tub and/or sauna. On my second stay I ate at the restaurant for supper. It was good but not over the top. The ambiance is nice. The hotel is located so close to many downtown attractions and/or old port. I will not hesitate staying here again. Actually, I have a third stay booked in January at the end of the month.
Don’t get me wrong it’s not a bad hotel at all, however I don’t think it’s a 4 star, more like a 3 star. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom situation is a bit odd. It’s not clear where the bathroom starts and the room finished. Both the shower and toilet is where you’d expect the wardrobe would be. Not to my taste to be honest. Also, the walk to my room was a bit odd, had to go past what it looked like the staff area, a bit secluded to my taste. The gym has a great view over downtown. The swimming pool gave me old Hilton vibes. A bit outdated. The bar area was nice and tue staff too.
The check in was seamless and on first impressions the room was perfect. Very spacious with two large beds, a lovely bathroom and great views. We then looked closer. The safe was closed and locked so we could not access it. We were not sure if the sheets had been changed since the previous client. The bathrobes were disgustingly filthy and there was only one pair of slippers. We reported all of this to the front desk and all was corrected whilst we had a drink in the bar. It seems that this hotel does not iron the sheets so they are badly wrinkled and appear used as the second set was the same as the first. We had dinner in the restaurant which was a disaster. There were four tables occupied and the waiting time for the food was excessive. When my main course arrived the meat was hot and the vegetables were stone cold. Not great after having waited more than 20 minutes for the food to appear. I said that I would eat the meat, but would like some bread as I was tired and could not be bothered to wait for more vegetables. By the time the bread arrived I had eaten the meat. The waiter apologised and said he could give me a 15% discount. I had been travelling all day and was too tired to argue. Will not stay there again.…
I stayed at this place for a week while attending a conference in Montreal. The hotel is next to another Marriott property, and so be careful to check which Marriott you are stopping at. It is conveniently located near many sites, including two big meeting venues, as well as the main shopping street of Montreal. There is also a shopping centre a few minutes away if you need to buy basic groceries and supplies. At check in, I was given the choice of a view or a more quiet room that was not facing the main street. I chose the latter, and was glad to have been given the choice. My room was spacious and sleek. The shower and sink were in separate cabins and the sink was in a separate area, close to the closet, which has an iron and ironing board. There was a Nespresso machine and a small refrigerator in the room. If you plan to eat in (as I sometimes did due to my gruelling schedule), not that there is nothing for eating or drinking that you can use apart from paper cups. The open-faced sandwiches that I had for breakfast were lovely, as were the coffee and juice. Service at the restaurant was friendly and efficient. Rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis unless you make a specific request for daily cleaning. I would have given this hotel a better rating if not for how complicated they made my late check out. This experience reinforced my impression that the persons at the front desk did not have much experience. Management should put more effort into training them.…
This is a wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely and clean room that suited our needs well. The only critique I could make was that the bathroom was extremely poorly lighted - a little difficult to see well. The restaurant on the first floor was very good for a late afternoon snack and a glass of wine. The lunch menu varied, and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Good hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Dining options on site. There’s a bar at the lobby, and a restaurant on the second floor. The rooms are huge. There’re also EV chargers for a fee. The hotel is vey close to orange and green line metro stations.
